This is a fantastic guide and really helps me out with learning my favorite P4 character! Question though how did you create the combo trial like ui in photoshop? I learn combos better in that form and would love to make some pngs of combos I make my own later down the line. Thanks a bunch :D
Thanks! I use Adobe After Effects and through some trial and error figured out how to re-create the combo trials over a few months of learning the program. Making PNG's should be easier though, you can try to find a Text Highlighter plugin for Photoshop so you just have to type the text and then let it auto-create the borders. Verdana font btw
I really feel like alot of her neutral and block string pressure you have to play with her in order to get more comfortable. It's been a task I have been a little afraid to take on but mentally I have to remember that I am not gonna be good overnight and losses will ensue. I'm also excited to be able to lockdown my opponent with this unanswerable pressure.
Yeah fam, remember your only competition is your self and as long as you keep focused on growth you're always winning But of course, winning the games is also fun haha
@@JayPhoenix I have been working with my wonderful friends in not worrying about winning so much as improving aspects of my play. Hasn't been easy mentally. 😆

Fun is always priority number 1. My advice is to keep the focus on your personal development and fulfillment and with that perspective you’ll mitigate a lot of the negative feelings that can creep up with fighting games online.
Still between characheters, kinda went back to Minazuki, still wanted to get better with rise. Also funny, I'm about her in P4g so the timing is awsome

Might talk about other genre games every once in a while but nothing too deep I stream whatever whenever I’m on twitch though. Fighters, shooters, etc
Problem: I started the game with Rise, and while a lot of what you said makes sense and I picked up the basic fundamentals of playing Rise almost immediately... it seems... that's all I know how to do... how the fuq do I play literally any other characters now that my fundamentals have been warped by this popstar? If it's hopeless... then oh well... playing Rise is fun anyways
I regret to inform you that your fears are totally real. You’ll be stuck playing mid-tier set play characters in fighting games for the next 5 years 😈 I too have fallen victim to this toxic cycle
