My sister wanted to start playing the game too and wanted to start with May, so I decided to learn some of her stuff to help her out and was happy to find a video from you!

you used 2s instead of c.s in the example combo footage and nobody has noticed this whole time, thats like 3 less damage dude, thats huge :) thank you for making this vid, more entertaining then the dustloop starter page for may, and more useful (as of right now the page is basically empty) have a goo day
Played strives beta and only played May. Now with the delay I picked up xrd and still plan to learn May. May is cool. Seriously though thanks for the video. I'll practice these when I can.

Is there a version with the inputs shown? New to fighting games and wanna learn, but the ingame combo tutorial (even just the first one) doesn't really help. It says I should hold left or right and then do a slash or heavy slash but like, nothing happens. But there are no further instructions and I also don't fully understand it from your tutorial. Does it have to do with the "Special" button, do you have to press that or? Edit: I see that you have shown some, but that goes way too fast for me know what does what.
For dolphin, you should hold back for about half a second, then input forward and Slash or Heavy Slash at the same time. If this doesn't work, try pressing the attack button slightly after you input forward. You don't need to use the special button. It's kinda weird but I'm sure you can do it! I really used to struggle with these inputs when I was new
@@ShuritFGC Ok, I was now able to do all the combo trials!!!!! Can pull of most combos 50% of the time now, though just in training mode. Gonna play more with friends and learn to use the combos :D
@@ShuritFGC Played against a friend. Though it wasn't easy to execute the specials attacks, he was very annoyed by it xD complained a lot about the dolphins haha

I promise you only need to know 1-2 short combos starting out. What matters is being able to land those combos which comes from playing matches

Picked up may during the strive Beta so I got xr2 and trying to main her and play online til June 11
I literally was playing today and had trouble doing anything at the f.S range. 5K is WAY better to contest that area with, duly noted.
