Absolutely. Ever since I turned about 38 I noticed I was losing my eyebrows. I'm 41 now and started using minoxidil a couple months ago and they are now slowly coming back. Not having brows really make you look so much older!

I've been watching brow blocking tutorials and I've found some good ones, but I love your tutorials the most because you never shy away from talking about the things that have tripped you up before, and you don't rush through explaining what is probably very basic knowledge (but I've never been able to successfully do this, so I need the BASIC basics, haha). I always feel much more confident after your tutorials, and I cannot wait to attempt this now - just in time to level up my halloween look.

I really like using spirit gum instead of Elmer’s glue. When I tried Elmer’s glue it ended up peeling off my face after a short time (not sure if it reacted to makeup on top or just skin oils) Spirit gum is made for use on skin and stays on really well! Plus dries down way faster. The only downside is you need some oil based makeup remover to take it off

If you have a brow lamination done they are much more moldable due to the perm solution whereas you'll probably loose more hair trying this if you've not had it done
Hi Alex, would you please consider doing a complete cool tutorial using pinks and taupes? My undertone is fair with redness on the nose as cheeks. I’ve always worn the wrong colours for my skin tone, and I’d love to see an example of the pinks and taupes with a cool lipstick colour and concealer that compliments the whole look. Most post menopausal ladies know the no eyebrow look very well. Over the past 3 years most of mine have just fallen out and eyelashes. Its a complete work of art everytime i put my make uo on now. 😢
I like this, but I think people should steer clear of any water based makeup in that area, glue sticks are water soluble so I recommend silicone or wax based products!!!

DUUUUUUDE!!! You would look ADORABLE with tiny, thin little 1930s brows!!! OMG!! YOU GOTTA DO A "Columbia from Rocky Horror Picture Show" look, or for your full-on Halloween costume!!!! You'd be perfect for it. Or, vice versa! You'd have to use a little temporary dye to make your hair copper... BUT! You cooouuuld completely SATURATE your hair with a super thick, heavy, deep conditioner. Comb that shiz through, to block the shade from getting into your cuticle. Blowdry. Then, add a ton of strong-set gel, because her hair is slicked down hard anyway. Comb into the style, and dry to set it. *Then* spray or paint on a rinse-out copper-red colour. It wouldn't be as rich in pigment, but it also won't stain your hair! You could be like, "I'm giving Columbia an update! We're going light-copper (or) peach!" Or wherever. You could go all the way, and preschedule an appointment with your stylist for the next day to get a tint-renover/bleach shampoo (it's NOT as terrifying as it sounds!! Lightener, plus 1pt developer.. probably 10 or 15vol, and 1part clarifying shampoo.) Maybe get a deep conditioning treatment, while you're at it? I digress; you'd slay as Columbia!!! Maybe for next year.

Could you by any chance make a video on lipstick shades that are appealing to different skin undertones? I have neutral undertones but a PEACHY neutral undertone. Whenever I wear "nude" lipstick or lipgloss, it just blends in with my skin color and undertone and it ends up making my skin undertone similar to clay?? 😅 I'm not sure how else to describe it, it really washes my skin color out. With fall here and winter coming up, we all know they're the season for bold lippies and id love to not be intimidated by actual lipstick/lip-glosses colors rather than just wearing clear lipgloss all the time. I hope this makes sense, thank you❤

You’ll probably want to conceal. But the paint might act a little differently in that area, usually it’ll just look more opaque and you’ll have to build up the face paint more around it so it matches. If it’s good quality paint tho you should be able to make it work!

I block my eyebrows exactly the same as but I have one problem with it. The blocked eyebrows' spot is a little bit shiny and smooth (the texture is different that skin) so if I want to put eyeshadows on top - they won't stick 😩
I need to try this again I tried a looong time ago and it did NOT work. I have super coarse eyebrow hairs and they are thick too. But I probably rushed the process so I want to try again.
I’ve seen a few videos of people putting the glue *on* their eyebrows, but not washing it *off* Admittedly, that would make a weird video! But I’m guessing the glue comes off with your average makeup remover? Without removing the actual eyebrow hairs along with it? 😰
Why is the purple glue important or was that a joke? 😅 sorry I'm in the UK so if a not purple one works then that's better for me since my local shops don't have Elmers most of the time
