- Ok. I have relatively sparse brows naturally, but with this routine I'm constantly getting compliments and people asking if I've had them microbladed. It's dope. SO. If you have sparse, uneven, patchy brows this is my super in depth tutorial for how to fake full brows. Remember, eyebrows are sisters not twins 💜

Yes! Can I just say that your tip to use a lighter brow pencil to fill in my deep dark eyebrows was a game changer! I now use a light brown neutral brow pencil & not only does it soften my brow appearance but it allows them to finally have a lighter tone! 🎉

I second this! Would love to see difference between brow pen/brow gel/pomade and eyebrow gel (see the nyx brown one)
You make it look easy. I have tried brow pens and it never looks that natural.
When I try to draw individual hairs with a brown pen (I have the NYX in gray), it looks RIDICULOUS. Too long, too wide, too crooked, too globby...just CAN'T draw the damn little lines!
This is the best brow tutorial i have ever seen. Thank you for taking the time to show us and talk through what we can do to enhance and perfect our skills to have amazing brows like yours. I also love the fact that you don't round off your beautiful cupids bow with lip pencil. So many people and content creators do that to the point where you can't see the cupids bow. I'm not keen on that sort of lip look. Having said that, if they like it, i'm good with that❤
Pears soap easily available in UK. Even in all the big supermarkets. Fun fact, I was a UK finalist to Miss Pears and had my photograph taken professionally by their photographer, I was around 4 years old, I won't say what year that was 😉 Anyways, just to add, mum did actually buy Pears soap every week, there were four of us in the home at the time. Absolutely amazing for your whole body and still use it now. Another great one for your skin is Wright's Coal Tar soap. Not a great fragrance but I'm ok with that - very masculine and again, been going years, so imo that's testament to the brand. Who knew in the 60's we'd still be using Pear's soap and not only to cleanse ourselves in the shower but to sculpt our brows too 😄

Random info: found that a brow of soap fits perfectly in a cream cheese box(washed and cleansed) so it's easier to use then from a baggie.
I love Alessandra‘s videos and have seen her use soap on her brows several times. I’m wondering what the true benefit of using soap is to set the brows? I frequently do my make up when I go to work, but I have a very physical job and frequently sweat or get dirty, so would the soap become an issue?
@@ae6888 hi, the soap fixes the brow in place. Like hairspray. You can use to lift the brow hairs significantly, give an arch and lift the whole face. That saying if you get them wet you're screwed, so in your situation I'd recommend using a brow tint(like a semi permanent hair color) that lasts a week or so. I put it on the oiter part, arch only and it gives a similar effect.

i have an irrational fear that if i use soap and it rains when i'm outside, soap will literally start running down my brows and that's why i can't get into the soap thing 🙃

Lovely! You and Wayne Goss are the ones I pretty much watch all the time. Merle Norman Cosmetics has an eyebrow pencil called Powder Brow, which is a cross between pencil and powder. It’s so good, goes on so softly and pigmented.

My left eyebrow hairs grow pointing down. No kind of glue, wax whatever makes them stay where I want them. They sometimes even wind up sticking straight out! It's actually pretty comical.
Imma spam you with my trick once more here. Guys, before anything else, apply a tiiiiny bit of eyeshadow base all over the brow, really blend it in and wipe the edges so that it's not a noticeable patch around the hairs. Then you can do the oencil or powder or whatever you like. Cannot stress enough how much that helps preventing the shine throughout the day. And it makes the hairs thicker too.

SUGAR COSMETICS TAUPE TOM!!!! I think it’s an Indian brand? It used to be so hard to get, I’d buy 6-10 at a time lol. Amazon sells it now. Hands down my favorite brow pencil. It just has this…..thing, I don’t know. Just so good! Also, you changed my hooded eye life when you said to take the color OUT instead of up. I’m 51, my lid is covered. I have both sets of products and have been trying to perfect how I do my brows. THIS IS PRFECT. Sometimes I just use the pens or the pencils and their cute but not giving how I want. Ima gonna try to do it this way and I just know it’s gonna EAT.

I used IT Cosmetics Brow Power powder in Universal Taupe for years but they discontinued it 😢
I am fair neutral with gray silver medium brown salt and pepper hair, I never thought of getting 2 colors.
Most of the major bands don’t carry powder brows any more. Used to use Milani brow powder kit (loved it) but the IT taupe would last longer.

Love this tutorial! Finnish brand Lumene does amazing cool toned brow products for scandi pale skin. Their "Longwear Eyebrow Definer" is my staple. I just saw someone from the States do a try-on haul with their products so I guess it's fairly available.
Trying to find Brow products when you're strawberryblonde/light ginger is near impossible. Make Up Store has a decent one and apparently ABs strawburn is supposed to be a good shade match (dat price doe, don't know if it's worth it) but I've I haven't found any good brow pens. They're either too ashy/taupe-y or too dark.
Even before I finish this video .... I gotta know Alex, what do you do for your nails? I recall you saying you stopped doing acrylics because it kind of ages the skin on your hands, is this a particular polish colour and brand? (I love it, @AlexandraAnele 😭)

I was actually happy with the Unleashia Taupe Gray eyebrow pencil. It's micro fine. Doesn't last long but really good for detail.

I’ve started using Pears soap for my brows and I love the hold it gives but I’m getting white residue! I’ve tried using more or less water and I can’t seem to figure out how to get it perfect
I can never get the soap to work for me. My eyebrows are thin thanks to years of plucking, but the actual hairs are thick and uncooperative. Some of that is age, because it's the only place that I've started to notice occasional gray hairs that don't want to behave. The only thing that I have found to use that works well for me is edge wax. It doesn't even matter what brand. Honestly the one that I picked up at Dollar Tree in the "ethnic" hair care section works great. Otherwise, I use much the same spoolie technique that you do with the soap, I just have found that the edge wax is a bit more forceful about getting those hairs to do what they're told!

I have a hard time with eyeshadow because the shape of my eyes are a mix of things. I have a slight ‘thyroid bulge’ and slightly ‘hooded’. The problem with all of the hooded eye vids is that it helps partially but in the end, something still isn’t right. Although there is a hood present, the lid and brow bone both have a lot of area to work with. 😅 Can you help?!

I was using the Anastasia brow powder and recently switched to the Benefit Cosmetics precisely brow pencil - love it, it’s amazing!
Up to 14:30 was sufficient. Looked fuller, well shaped and normal. Maybe end with a gel to hold.

I feel like I choose my brow shades by the weather. Because if I'm wearing warmer bronzer I'll do a little warmer brow. If I'm wearing cooler blush I do cooler toned brows. I don't know if that makes sense lol

Im always confused on how hard i should be pressing on the pencil. How firm should i push. Ive never really done anything with my brows until now in my 40s and because my brows are so damn blonde that its really hard to see them. Ugh
The more pressure, the deeper color w pencils (the wider the lines w brow pens). Play and find what you like! Some days my brows are lighter, and sometimes they’re deeper (black/deep brown hair here, w fair-light warm olive skin) it’s like a vibe 😂.
Seeing as you’re a blonde, use the lightest pressure possible, as you’ve got less contrast in your features. You may always build up frm there

Thank you. When I was young (teens, and twenties) I never plucked my eyebrows. Now that I am much much older, my eyebrows have taken on a rather whimsical, aggravating "personality". Even though they are now sparse, the brow hair that is left is partly curly and partly very straight and long pointing down. Some are gray. Lots of fun. Anyway, you are an excellent teacher.

I use brow pens and a little powder then use setting spray. It does NOT come off in the gym and the sweat pours off me. Sorry about TMI. Your eyebrows are sisters not twins so never perfect. Loved the video.

I think you look cute and pretty with your natural eyebrows. I would just fill them in slightly and keep them exactly as they are, not make them thicker/wider like you did here.
