Michigan. Once a month, let us know a couple days ahead of time so more of us can tune in live. Love your passion for the game, your real-world tips, and your great book. Thanks!
I love the book -- it's helped me a lot. I'd like to see this stuff from you guys as often as you can do it. (I know it's a lot of work, so do whatever you can!) I'm up here north of Seattle - great golf, lots of sogginess sometimes. Thanks for all you contribute to us: the VLS program has helped me a ton. Haven't done the Short game program yet.
Ellen Uthe I started watching you with the 3 chipping mistakes video and been loyal evert since. Bought your book and VLS Board. I am an experienced golfer who has a great passion for golf and appreciate your lessons. They have helped so much. To you, Nick and all your staff, thank you! From Saint Anne, Illinois
Lawrenceburg, IN. Thanks for the lesson and all your videos. Like others here, chipping can be difficult with my 60 degree wedge for me, usually further away from the green, like 5-20yards from edge. Many times, I find myself using the 'Arizona wedge', 7 iron, bumping and running. Will continue practicing and hopefully improving with the 60 wedge.
Will, appreciate what you have done for our country. We are forever grateful to the men and women in all countries who go out each day and work to create peace in this world.
@@USGOLFTVshow Maui is great, there's a lot of fun things to do. There's para-sailing, zip-lining, whale watching tours, and of course you need to visit Haleakala National Park. There's also the 7 sacred pools in Hana, on the Eastern end of the island. I wouldn't suggest swimming on the southern shore of Maui as it's infamous for shark attacks. Olowalu and Makena beach. Best wishes and stay safe, your friend Pat.
@@USGOLFTVshow Hmm...probably the "must play" on Maui is The Plantation Course at Kapalua, where the PGA plays at every January. Makena has a nice course just above the beach. Also Wailea resort has 3 courses of which the Emerald course is the best, I think. Take care buddy.
kudos Todd. kudos. best instructor on TH-cam right here. 34 from Chicago. been golfing for 1 year. and yes please some notice would be perfect so we can join in! I have a net in my house 😅
Good question, when we make the shaft more vertical it does add loft and soften the shot. Make sure you are getting your weight to the lead foot in the finish.
Nothing like being on a golf course instead of being in a room. Take us through a hole from tee to green going through tactics and techniques 🎉❤👍🏌️From tara iti new zealand

Patrick, thank you. I will be in Maui with my family this summer. Any suggestions on things to do?

Todd once a month for your live content, would be great.
Thank you for your great golf tuition. Love it. Rob Smith. 🇬🇧
Rob, we appreciate you taking time to share your insights.
Hey Todd, David from Fort Wayne, IN. In the VLS system you teach a strong grip. Is this also the grip you recommend for chipping and sand shots?
Great question, no we like a neutral grip for chipping and putting as it allows the face to stay open with less effort. 👊
Is it better to use same club and then change club position depending on tight lie or same position and change clubs depending on lie
Good video guys. I'm the worlds rorst chipper so can't get enough chipping advice
We are going to change you into a world class chipper Julian! Stay with us...

Rick from Maui - Since watching you for the past year, my handicap has dropped from 16 to 11.

what about a forward press like the classic players to get your weight on front foot?
A little forward press is ok, just don't over do it.
Jeff SF Bay Area, CA. I keep the shaft more vertical but often get the ball to pop straight up or just end up a few feet ahead. What am I doing wrong?

Monroe, GA. Will these methods work with a 9 or 10 iron
Yes, all clubs used for chipping
