I don't understand why the original trilogy isn't available on Steam or other digital stores. EA produced these fantastic video games and just let them... disappear. Like literally zero Fs given even though there's demand and a devoted fan base. They can keep the atrocity that was Goblet of Fire, but give us the first three gems!
As far as I know EA has long lost the rights to these games, as in, they are not EA's property anymore. There are cases like this with other games too, like Naruto rise of a ninja and broken bond on xbox360, they were made by Ubisoft, but they are not sold anymore, as Ubisoft doesn't own the rights to it anymore. Whoever owns the rights to the harry potter game franchise now, owns these games, I would assume, although I am no lawyer. I know there is an upcoming harry potter game, and that is definitely not being made by the same studio that made this game, the thing is EA was only publishing these games, but they had a separate team who made them. I think the first 3 games were made by some pretty unkown studio, for EA, and then from the 4th one, it was given to someone else. For hogwarts legacy, its also a new studio. So yeah, it's all to do with licensing, but it's really easy to get the first 3 games on PC from abandonware websites.

Man, I totally forgot this existed!! I saw some youtubers playing old harry potter games and wondered "wasn't there a HP game where you collected beans?" That game was pretty hard as an 8 year old kid lmao

Hmm, that's an interesting way of getting the ones on top of the wall. I would use the Spongify mat in front of where you spawn in and Enter to escape the soaring animation halfway through so that you land on top. 18 years later and I'm still learning things about this game :3

Not a perfect run... you left a few in the first spongify you did, I think only 2... and you forget the waterfall in the first room wich is an 'Alohomora' and sprays like 20 beans :-)

How did you score 1420 house points? I could only earn 1360 points: 1) 1000 points (250 each) from mastering 4 spell challenges 2) 240 points (40 each) from 6 Quidditch matches. 3) 120 points (30 each) from 4 spell lessons.

Loved this bean room. Was so exciting to go to it. The good old days when games were games. Harry potter on pc was the absolute bomb
