The stationary skull coaster thing was originally famous from a Halloween level that CarlSagan42 played. Most troll players have seen Carl get fooled by that one, but I guess it was still a surprise to DGR. Still one of the best silly trolls

Yeah, there were a couple of references he missed. Each troll player definitely has a slightly different experience going through this level though, depending on the other levels they've played.

I can't even imagine how this was made. But, if this was made by only one creator, that was extremely well done. I vote for this being the best ever troll level made in Mario Maker 1 and 2. It's like seeing Picasso at work. A class in how the master of masters work.
As far as I'm aware, most levels in wagon world have some amount of collaboration, although many of them might be mostly built by one person.
The title, into screen, and hub room in "key no die" are all references to the level "Mario commits key die", which is why Dave gets that deja vu feeling upon entering the hub room.
There are also a whole bunch of references to other levels in these. Trolling is (F)art is a reference to a defender level, the room with the large boot is a reference to a defense level which has been referenced several times now by different levels, etc.
I was gonna comment explaining that where mario commits key die but I looked first. I played that level the other night where I have it saved.
Man, this super world is NEXT LEVEL bro. The references and giving you clues and making you go back and forth is SUPER creative, and wow the trolls themselves are making me shake my head in wonder
Imagine if the level creator purposefully put a "you wait, you die" troll at 13:37 so it killed Dave while he was moving the camera
It's s smart that you have to keep switch between the two levels in order to win both, it's one troll level in two

Agreed. I'm shocked he doesn't say least mention their part of the wagon world videos in the title. Makes it extremely difficult to figure out which ones are part of the series.

This one was one of THE best troll levels ever! Also I liked the overworld design to it. It looked like 2 towers you had to complete in order to climb to the final castle :D

Those Two Troll Levels were incredible!!! Huge fan DGR. Your perseverance is inspiring to watch! Those Two Troll Levels in the video reminded me of The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons and Ages. Where you could go back and forth between those two games with these special passwords to get extra goodies, including a chance to save Zelda!

That Wrong Level swap is one of the most spectacular troll levels I've ever watched. It may not contain as much troll magic as the most complex levels I've ever seen... individually, that's it. Combined, though? Yeah, among the most spectacular I've watched.

The infinite skullcoaster is from another level originally, and the first time I saw it, I nearly pissed myself laughing. Totally had me fooled.

They trolls arent even really tricks they are just catching him on his impatience and silliness
Often he acts too soon because he expects a certain type of troll, or he tries to sniff something out, and then they anticipate that and do something else that doesn't look like a trick to you but it's actually intended specifically for people playing those mind games
Oh yeah I bet you'd 100% not get tricked at all the first time on these. He's really impatient for not predicting every hidden invisible trap while 10 mechanisms activate at once.
