Congratulations 🎉 Please I do have a question, I saw a comment somewhere and the person said his wife's spousal visa was denied because she attended the interview in a country other than where they had their marriage. So I live in a different country from where I also had my marriage and I plan to have my interview the country I live. Would this be an issue?
Hi, thank you! 😊 Generally, you should have your visa interview in the country that you live. So, you should be fine. However, you are allowed to have the interview in a different country if you have a valid reason for doing so but it may be more difficult to demonstrate your qualifications for a visa. I really think there’s more to that person’s story than they are willing to share. The location of the marriage really is of no consequence as long as it’s legally recognized. Wishing you all the best on your immigration journey!! 💙
Congratulations 🎉❤, how exciting 😊!!!
