Hi I'm from india so I want to know that if my fiance is applying for me that DS160 from so how can I get the printouts here in India?
Hi, you only need to bring the confirmation page of your DS-160 application to the interview, not the entire completed form. So, she can email you in PDF format a copy of the DS-160 confirmation page. It should be in pdf format so that the barcode on top of the page is viewable.
@@Marriedtotheculture thanks
Good morning mam, you're very great i always follow your advices and I've achieved alot thank you soo much. Pls how long will you able to wait for nvc to schedule your visa appointment after you've been documentary qualify from nvc. Italy Naples thanks once more
Hi, thank you. I’m glad my videos have been helpful. It’s very hard to say as varies on a case by case basis and all depends on the workload of your particular embassy.
@Marriedtotheculture thank you for the explanation🙏🏽
Hi, i did the work-around,added one joint sponsor, submitted but still waiting the submitted to turn to "accepted" and I'm wondering if i will meet the requirements, also why the consular don't tell the exact number your joint sponsor have to make to help you find the wright person instead of going back and forward? Bcz i am looking for a second joint sponsor to add (4 days after i submitted to first). But definitely i'm going to ask NVC if they can open a joint sponsor portal. The number for a 6 household size in Google / HHS Poverty Guidelines are correct? I was approved with a household member but after the interview 4 years later, the consular asked for a joint sponsor and at the meantime the household size dropped down to 5. Sorry for being so long, the video was helpful though.
Hi, here’s USCIS poverty guideline : www.uscis.gov/i-864p Use the one for the Contiguous 48 states (unless you reside in Alaska or Hawaii) and check numbers under the 125% of HHS Poverty guideline list. For a household of 6 the sponsor will need to make at least $52,450. And remember you need to include the immigrant/beneficiary as a household member as well. So, if sponsor has a family of 5 then he’ll need to add the immigrant making it a family of 6. Therefore, he/she must meet at minimum $52,450. Hope this helps.
@Marriedtotheculture I appreciate that. In the taxe return, Do they look at annual wages/ gross income or at the AGI( Adjusted Gross Income) ? It helps to do more research and i found out why I was denied the visa at that interview on November 7th: my original household size was 7 in 2020 when i was approved, the interview took place in 2024. The poverty guidelines minimum income for size 7 is 59,175$ and I + my household member have 56,364$ adjusted gross income. But in 2024 my dependents under 21 of ages dropped down, that's why in ceac account after interview they asked me to file a I-864EZ which shows my current household size (5) and my W2. I should be good now. The consular asked me a joint sponsor but in my Ceac account I have only I-864EZ and w2 asked, no joint sponsor portal, I still added a joint sponsor. Thank you
Hiii... my interview was for conference meeting B1/B2 on (2/12/24). The visa of officer gave a white slip saying visa refusal under section 221(g).. and they take my passport and the letter of invitation.. so can u tell me please its probability
Hi, keeping your passport oftentimes is a good sign. After further review of your case a final decision will be made. Keep checking for correspondence for possible requests of additional information from you.
Hi this video is amazing but I got a question my visa was approved in the interview but then a week later received an email saying it’s under administrative processing is this normal
Hi, yes this can happen. Something popped up that required additional review.
1 year 2 months ago I'm waiting for decision of 221g administrative processing. Do you know I'm very sad. What do I do
Hi, I’m sure you have reached out to the embassy for updates, if not, be sure to do so. You may want to consult with an immigration attorney as well.
My wife worked in Jeddah for 7 years but we can't get a police certificate from Saudi Arabia. We were documentarily qualified and have an interview scheduled soon. Will they wave the police report or have they already waved it since we've been documentarily qualified?
Hi, per NVC’s website, civil documents, which includes police certificates, are a must. I’ve linked website below. However, please read the section under the subheading: “Important Notice For Missing Documents” it gives directions on what to do if you aren’t able to get a civil document. It’s country specific, so be sure to click links, read thoroughly and pay attention to evidence and other requirements needed. See the link here: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-5-collect-financial-evidence-and-other-supporting-documents/step-7-collect-civil-documents.html
Hi, In Sep 2021, at the time of the interview, I received a pink slip 221g refused. Later, on the same day, i received an email from the embassy, adivesd me to send the last 15 years' travel history. I submitted all the required information, but until today, there has been no reply. I sent the emails, but they said it's in process. Please advise me about it
Hi, that’s an extended period. You may want to consult with an immigration attorney to help you strategize. You can search for an AILA member lawyer here: www.ailalawyer.com
If sponsor is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer with all proofs from US approved cancer centre and doctors, can F3 case be expedited? Filling date is June 2018
Per USCIS website, www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/expedite-requests this may fall under humanitarian reasons for expedite request.
@@Marriedtotheculture Thank you for your reply.
Hi. Pls would a Ir2 visa be given if you're 21?
Hi, iR2 are for children under 21. But if you age out during the adjudicating process the Child Status Protection Act may be possibly useful for those older than 21. Here’s the USCIS link to find it more: www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/child-status-protection-act-cspa
@Marriedtotheculture I started applying when I was 17 buh they just scheduled my interview for 2025. How will the the child status protection act help? My step-mom is the one petitioning for me, I just want to meet her. Pls any idea of possible questions I'd be asked?
Akwaaba
Thanks for sharing the video! I am trying to get IR2 for my kids as well ❤ have they asked for the immunization lists as well? Or that is not required to be submitted?
Hi, at the medical exam prior to your visa interview if you have immunization records you can bring them to the exam. But at medical exam there are specific vaccinations you’ll need and receive for entry to US. Also, when approved for visa you’ll want to make sure to bring immunization records for your child’s U.S.A. school enrollment as well.
Hello, I hope you are doing well, My immigration cas was in administrative processing and I received an email saying that administrative processing is complete and your cas is already submitted to to the consular officer for review, Why consular officer should review once administratives processing is complete? Please 🙏 answer my question… thanks 🙏
Hi, yes, so administrative processing is basically further review of your case. The consular officer had additional questions that he/she sent of to request further investigation. Do, he/she has received that information back to help decide to approve your case.
Was your case status saying refused or in administrative processing? Did they request for additional documents
Sister gabby I need your help, please the Ds 3024 where can I get it? The physician of the embassy did not give me that ,do I have to contact the embassy or who?
Hi, oh my! You may need to re-do a full medical exam here in U.S. with a civil surgeon. Here’s a link to locate one in your area: www.uscis.gov/tools/find-a-civil-surgeon Or you could try contacting the previous medical examiner to see if they have a copy of the DS 3024 that they can send to you. (DS 3024 is based on having completed chest X-rays.)But that may take too much time. So it’s probably best to just re-do the full medicals here by an approved civil surgeon. I know that sucks having to re-pay fees. So sorry this happened to you. You can email me here: marriedtotheculture@gmail.com
Please can I get your contact information, I'm now I'm the US and I'm filing for adjustment of status but my ds 3024 where can I get it, because the embassy hospital did not give me that and embassy also did not give me that
I believe we spoken about this, but if not, here’s my email: marriedtotheculture@gmail.com
Hi this is so informative! I would like to know when you received the FE notes, where did you upload the additional documents? Bc all the file I uploaded says ACCEPTED and I dont know where to upload
Hi, thank you! I’m glad you found it helpful. There’s wording written in blue that says “ additional documents” you click on that sentence and it pops up to allow you to add documents. You’re able to select the document type as well. Here’s my NVC playlist th-cam.com/play/PLjBWX4GStLrmw_pgzRT71LWNHqfcODu35.html&si=Cn5vzS1Lg3-AV4NI where I go over how I submitted my documents. I mentioned adding additional documents in the second video I believe.

Hi, if your date of return is the only issue causing concern and what you provide is sufficient enough to prove your eligibility for the visa, it’s a possibility.

Mi if kukuha ba ng interpreter magkano ang bayad ?
We were denied an immigrant visa at the interview at the U.S. embassy in the F3 category because my grandfather (our sponsor) had passed away. We were then moved to the F4 category, and my paternal uncle became our sponsor. Thankfully, we were given another interview after 8 months in October 2024. Unfortunately, our CEAC account showed an “application error,” despite many attempts to resolve it and reporting the issue to both the embassy and the NVC, but to no avail. We were supposed to upload the DS-260 form there, but we couldn’t due to the online error. When we discussed this issue in an interview at the embassy, they said it was okay, and they would upload the documents and place our case into “administrative processing” following the second interview, without providing any explanation and told us you can acquire knowledge about your case after 2 months. 😢

Hi, unfortunately these background checks can be prolonged. Please follow up with the embassy or consulate to see if they can give you any additional information. Also check your email to ensure you haven’t missed any communication.
I have said this before Gabby. You are an amazing person and mom. God will amaze you with so much love and wonder. Baby girl adores you.
Hi!! Aww thank you so much!! 😊 ❤️
Im a USA citizen, My husband had his interview on October 31, they gave him a 221g because she couldn't see my 2023 Transcripts, she told my husband please upload it as soon as possible and send your passport back to us. So we did everything the same day of his interview, they had his passport since November 4, and the status for the uploaded paper says approved, but in the ceac page stills refused, as the last update that was november 12. Any help please. Thank you!
Hi, it sounds promising. Give it a few days for them to review and update the system.
@Marriedtotheculture thank you for your response. They did another updated November 15 but still refused. I'm hoping in God that this week we have any good news.
Hi..May how many years of transcript did you have to submit?
@@yanic.1018 only my 2023 year. Thanks
Did your case get resolved? My wife was given 221g for L2 visa dec 2nd. Consular agent gave passport back and asked to upload resume and transcript of her masters degree (even though she had both during the interview). There has been a single update on dec 5th so far.
Dear Applicant, Thank you for writing. We understand that you wish to know your visa application status. Some refused visa applications may require further administrative processing. When administrative processing is required, the consular officer will inform the applicant at the end of the interview. The duration of the administrative processing will vary based on the individual circumstances of each case. Except in cases of emergency travel (i.e. serious illnesses, injuries, or deaths in your immediate family), before making inquiries about status of administrative processing, applicants should wait at least 120 days from the date of interview or submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later. Received this email it has been i submitted the required documents but still not approved
Hi, unfortunately the timeframe can vary when in administrative processing. They prefer that you wait 180 days before following up, but you continue to follow up on your case as you see fit. And keep checking your email for any communication from them in the meantime.
When was your interview?
Hi..I have attended h1b visa interview on 11/14 and tehy provided 221(g) and returned back my pass port after interview. The instruction on 221(g) form is additional administrative processing. Can you help me what will happen in my case?
Hi, so they are going to do further investigation on your case but unfortunately you won’t know for sure how long this will take. The timeline varies on a case by case basis. It can be a few weeks or months. They may ask you for additional information if necessary. If so make sure to respond promptly.

Now nvc send as message that they will give us interview that in ghana how long did you think they will take to give as the date
Hi, this will depend on Ghana’s embassy availability. We just got approved for our daughter’s visa March of this year. We got DQ’d by NVC in Dec 2022 and didn’t get her interview date until Feb 2024. Hopefully, your wait time is much shorter.
@Marriedtotheculture i pray so thanks alot
I did my interview on 12th june 2024 but up to now i havent got any communication yet i send the additional documents needed.
Hi, unfortunately the wait time can vary on a case by case basis. However, you can try reaching out to the embassy or consulate to see if they can give you any updates.
Dear Applicant's Thank you for your email. We acknowledge the submission of your documents as instructed by our office. Your case is currently pending officer review. Once the review is complete, we will inform you of the next steps in the process. What is this means ?
Hi, they’ve received your documents and are reviewing it. If something additional is needed to make a final decision they will let you know. Or if nothing additional is needed then they can make a decision to approve your case or not, they will let you know the answer.
Hello 🆘🤍i had my interview on 5 nov for ir1 visa the officer kept my passport and gave me a white paper 221g saying administrative review then she put a circle at a death certificate and told me tell your wife to send me this we submitted it today ) what is this mean we are very confused and my status says refused
Hi, them keeping your passport is often a good sign. They requested the death certificate because it’s a document needed to complete the process of your case. Once they review it, if nothing additional is needed and everything else is good, most likely you’ll get your approval. Keep checking your email and online visa status for any case updates. Wishing you the best!
@ thanck you so much i really appreciate it
Hi, is all of this information still valid? I heard it changed recently?
Hi, thanks for pointing this out. Although ustraveldocs is NVC/Dept of state’s official visa service provider, some embassies and consulates may use different visa service providers for scheduling interviews and visa pickup. It appears several are switching providers this year. There are a few switching from ustraveldocs to a new system called U.S. visa scheduling. But, if an embassy is changing all this information can be found on that specific embassy’s website with instructions on how they will go about that transition specifically for those that have already created accounts in the old system.

@ yes I have the information thank you so much!!
Good morning please when you have already uploaded of your documents to ceac/nvc, please it take how long will it takes from them to response to you? Thanks
Hi, it typically doesn’t take NVC long to review uploaded documents. Maybe up to 2 weeks. But it can vary on a case by case basis.
@Marriedtotheculture thank you very much for the explanation i really appreciate, I'm in a category of i130 petition for spouse. We've been approved and we are now in the stage of nvc and we upload all of the requirements they asked
@@bashosoro10 ok awesome, hopefully, you hear back from them soon. Just hang in there. Wishing you both all the best!!!
@@Marriedtotheculture Aameen thank you soo much
My African boyfriend told me that he gave the prophet three names of women that he liked or wanted to marry, lol and what do you know, the prophet picked my name. We just met April 2024 and he proposed by July and wanted to get married by this November or December. Hes been pressuring me. I told him im not getting married this year. The only people i have talked to is his older children. His parents are passed so i cant meet them. He wont post me on Facebook either . He gave a copy of divorce papers but i just think they are bogus. I pretty much think hes scamming me for a green card. I asked him, if i marry you, once you get your green card , who are bringing over here, he said my children and their mother. He said the mother has to come with the children. They are under 18. I said that they can fly with the stewardess and we can meet them in New York. I really hate this because i have fallen for his charm and words, but i know in my heart its a scam. We are in are 50, he has a job, home, car, everything. We are out on public everyday, however i have to tell the people at his church that im his friend and also like i said before he wont post me online because he was pastor back home in Nigeria and dont want people to see. I think him and the ex are in on it and shes waiting patiently. He came to the USA in 2022 and his divorce papers say she started the divorce in 2022, she told him not to go and he did , so he abandoned her and the kids and cheated and abused her. But funny, i should be able to look up the customary court president on the seal and i cant bring him or the members on the papers.
Thank you and god bless for this step by step information❤
You are so welcome!! Glad it was helpful. Thank you! 😊 ❤️
Hey my whole thing is mixed up I don’t see the option to pay fees and I don’t see the affidavit of support form to fill out I also saw u can go on USCIS and fill it out but where do I post it?
Hi, are you completing this for an immediate relative? What do you see when you login? What options are available to you?
More with MO!!!!! God bless you MO!!! & Gabby! You are a true blessing to the immigrant community. Keep sharing your incredible love story for all to receive hope and encouragement in this incredibly difficult journey, I have been watching your show for about two years. We are still waiting for my husband to come from Kenya since filing our immigration paperwork in September,2021. We were married in August 2021. We are finally at the NVC stage as of March 2024. My husband now has to travel to Greece to obtain his last police report. Hopefully, we can become documentarily qualified by the end of the year, When I first started this journey way back in 2020, your show was the only one that really encouraged me to marry an African man despite the many challenges I would face with family and friends. So many immigrant marriages do not last because of the obstacles they face and lack of commitment to each other. My prayer for you and your family is that you continue to be a blessing and committed to your marriage vows so that we who are watching and hoping can continue on in our marriage immigration journey. Be Blessed!😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
Awww 🥰 thank you so much!! (girl you got me a little teary eyed🥹) Your comment means the world to me because this is my why for this channel. I’m just so happy to know I’m helping others in some way. I pray you and your husband get your interview in due time and that you both are reunited soon!! ❤️ Yes, both the immigration process and an intercultural marriage are challenging but as you said with dedication and commitment from both parties it’s achievable. Wishing you and your hubby all the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Please keep me posted so we can celebrate when y’all get that visa!!! 😊☺️
Hi I’ll participating in cultural exchange program J1, for the second time, they gave me yellow 221 (g) they kept my passport and DS2019. An hour later they call me to back to the embassy with my documents but didn’t mention what documents. I went back and give my documents that I have including my 1st j1 ds2019 and ds7002. They did a really long interview once again. Now it already 3 days. What do you think going to happen?
NB: There’s no instructions on the 221g form
Hi, you mentioned for the second time? Were you approved or denied the first time? I can say them keeping your passport can be seen as a good sign. Their focus with this type visa is to ensure you do not have immigrant intent. Meaning you need to show that you have strong ties to your home country and reasons to return home when your visa expires. They want to make sure you’re not just trying to get to the U.S. to stay indefinitely. And then calling you back means they saw things that they needed further answers to determine if you should be approved. Think about the questions they were asking you that should give you an idea of what there concerns are.
Hawa is so pretty…beautiful eyes
Hi, thank you! 😊
Hi guys! Hope you are well. Here’s a mini vlog..trying to be consistent..hope you enjoy. ❤
Baby girl is so sweet ❤
Aww thank you 😊 🤗❤️
Hi there! I was pregnant when my husband filed my i130 (CR1) at Uscis, and then when I gave birth, we uploaded his birth certificate while still at uscis stage, and baby is already 2 years and we're at NVC (now ir1). My question is are we to file another i130 for the baby or add her as another applicant on the nvc ds260 form thereby filling two forms of ds260 for the baby and myself? Because I see people saying the baby needs her own separate i130 if the baby is to immigrate to the USA with the mother
Hi, is your husband a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident (green card holder)?
@@Marriedtotheculture he became a us citizen last October which was few months after child birth. As of the time F2a was filed, he was LPR.
@@shansvibe1642ok, I suggest contacting USCIS about the I-130 because I’m getting conflicting feedback on this one. Here’s the number: 1-800-375-5283 Just let them know you updated baby but you just want to confirm if a separate I-130 needs to be completed in your situation. (Hopefully, not because that will come with more fees.) However, with NVC it does appear that two DS-260s will need to be completed for you and the little one. So sorry I couldn’t be more precise, but immigration is definitely complex & often times confusing.
Hi Greetings from Nepal 🇳🇵. Can you tell me did you filed for your daughter with greencard or citizenship ❤Thank you
Hi, I filed for green card.
@@Marriedtotheculture Mam it will take faster processing with US citizenship right ? I mean to get interview
I just love how Mo breaks down the real truth 😆❤. And i love your channel Keep bringing us more of this👍💫
Thank you! Will do! 🥰❤️
