im still friends with the guys to this day.... they sing this all the time. The next song you ladies would love from them imo would be ALL I WANT (is you) more rock and ballad. Or WHAT YOU SAY which was their first single. Amazing harmonies. They go from Metal to ballads to Beatles sounding stuff to twisted lyrics and back lead singers swap since both sing well. Thank you for playing.. this song did make the top 10 at the time in the country.
Thank you ladies for doing this reaction! I haven't heard this song in close to 30 years, but I saw the notification and instantly remembered the chorus. I remember the sound of the singer's voice but couldn't remember the words until he started singing, and then... Then, the whole song flooded back to my memory like it was yesterday. That's the power of music! I remember this song surprising a lot of people back in 1992 when it was released, so it wasn't just you two. So glad that you both enjoyed it! I know I can always count on you all to remind me of music I haven't thought of in a long time, and I thank you for it!! Keep rocking!!
SAIGON KICK Line-up 1992 Matt Kramer: Vocals Jason Bieler: Guitars, Backing Vocals, Keyboards Tom DeFile: Bass Phil Varone: Drums, Percussion Cheers from CHILE!!!
Another hard rock/metal band from the 90s so many good bands from that era it is hard to remember, I do have this CD however titled "Water" if I remember correctly seen the thumbnail & knew you ladies would enjoy this one
I still have in my possession the cassette single of this song, in its old school late 80's early 90's cardboard hot pocket pouch lol!!!! The B side was a song called sleep!!!!
Beautiful song when my voice is healthy. I can sing this flawlessly get so a karaoke. Many times got standing ovations for doing it. You ought to check out the whole album. This song is on called Saigon. Kick the lizard every song is A banger trust me great group
Great pick ladies! I believe the song is from 1992, this was the end of a lot of bands like Saigon Kick, grunge and alternative music started to take over around this time. They were a good band.
Yeah, they came along at the very tail end of that era. I just read the great book 'Nothin' But A Good Time' about the rise and fall of hair metal and I don't think these guys ever really get a mention.
@@RolandDeschain1 Nice, I'll have to check that book out, there were still lots of good bands around at the time, too bad there wasn't room for these guys and others too.
I will pay this next one in such a way that I am guaranteed to offer joy and surprised expressions to all of you (Us too!) 😉 So, please review our amazing Finnish (singer) guitarist Erja Lyytinen. Either "Waiting for the daylight (Live)" March 2024 or her "Erja Lyytinen - Black Ocean" from spring 2024. I bet Donna will say: "SHE IS AWESOME!" 🤩 Thanks and have a nice summer 2024!!
I know a guy that was stationed in Germany back in the earring era . Europe was opposite of the US as to which ear you put the earring in as to its meaning . One ear meant you were straight , the other ear , take a wild guess . Or ask Chad .
By the way ladies it's a panty dropper song But I mentioned listen to the rest of the album. This is on they have harmonies that rival the beatles The rest of the songs on this album are hardcore, heavy rock and roll Mel. Songs like the peppermint tribe Basically, the whole album.Every song is incredible minus this one.The rest are all heavy heavy
One of the best ballads ever.
