Hi there lovely lady......this is a great idea, particularly for those of us that have lots of fabric off-cuts....( though I saw that beautiful fabric you used and immediately saw a journal cover lol ) . I checked out your link, and it's also a great way to use napkins, but I prefer fabric for texture and sturdiness. These tasty short morsels you're serving up are just perfect 😍. Sometimes we forget these simple but effective ideas to decorate pages....and yes....this makes your washi unique.

Hi Susan, lol! Yes, the fabric I used would make a pretty journal cover. I still have a good size piece left to use. You're right, it's the little details that we forget to do. Making fabric washi is something I've been wanting to make and just out it in the back burner and just forgot about it. Seeing the napkin washi tape video, reminded me on using fabric. I hope you do try it. It's easy to do. Thank you for all your support. 😊 Blessings ❤️ and Hugs

Another great idea MJ, and I am sitting here thinking now what Hadn't I thought of that. I have lots of fabric to play with as well so I will give this a go. I just bought the Tim Holtz fabric washi because I thought it was so neat, Big Big Congratulations on making it to a Thousand, I am sure if you had more time to devote to your channel you would have been there ages ago. Thanks for another wonderful idea and the inspiration to give this a go. Please take care, rest when you need to. Blessings Hugs and Smiles my friend

Hi Sweet friend! I've been wanting to make some fabric washi tape but just forgot about it. I saw a video using napkin to make washi tape that reminded me on it. The possibilities are endless. I have more ideas on making washi tape to share soon. Yes, I try to rest as I still suffer from fatigue but I push myself to keep going. I still not recovered 100% of my sense of smell and taste from the first time I got Covid. This time it wad different. It's more fatigue and headaches. Well, you take care and be safe. Hugs and Blessings ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️

Why not use a rotary cutter to make the cleanest and straightest cuts possible? I find that to be preferable over using fabric shears.

Yes, I thought about it but I like the imperfection of handmade look vs the perfect cut. Tyfw Blessings 😊
