Crew gratuities are included when you do the "early booking" Have it All. You can see if just by looking at their site on a cruise that's a year or more in advance.

I'm assuming this is also if you book directly with HAL, which is many times more expensive?
@@cruisetipswithchristina We have the gratuities included with the HIA package for a 2025 cruise. Some of the other benefits were slightly different, too. We booked through a travel agent (Vacations To Go) 17 months in advance - it wasn't even listed on their website yet. We have never gotten any of the packages before, because we don't drink. With the added benefit of gratuities and the perk that the sizeable deposit would be refundable with the package (but not without), we decided that it was worth it for this very special trip. 😊

I think it’s worth it. We booked on a cruise to Norway in September our Have it all package included gratuities. We always end up in a specialty restaurant. We usually go on one or two excursions per cruise, while we are not big drinkers we do drink a lot of specialty coffees and a couple glasses of wine with dinner.

My daughter and I just booked a HAL land/cruise to Alaska (1st time!) for next May. At first we didn't add the package; we don't need alcohol or specialty dining. But we just had a call with our travel agent and went over it again - with early booking, they throw in the crew gratuities @ $119 pp ($238); we figure 2 sodas/day pp @ $2.75+tip ($78); internet for 1 of us for 6 days @$34.99 ($210). Add the excursion credits ($200) and we're already at $726 total. So for another $44, we would both get a specialty dinner (~$100), unlimited sodas (& a few fancy coffees and margaritas), and we'd both have internet all week. So, as you said, it really is different for everyone. But, IMO, it's worth doing the calculation (dollars and what you enjoy). I'm enjoying your videos as a first-timer for tips!
My wife and I are on the May 3 2025 also.
$55 a day for WiFi and mostly unlimited beverages is already a steal of a deal compared to Royal Caribbean’s drink package alone is $65 to $85 per day. We’ll be trying out the Have-it-All package next month on a 10 day cruise. So we get 2 all day excursions and 2 special dining meals as well. We do like our happy hour cocktails, strong coffees, and sodas as well as internet is a must for me (not for work! 😁). So I hope it’ll be worth it for us.

I wonder if maybe Royal Caribbean's drink package is more $$$ because more people take advantage and actually have 15 alcoholic drinks a day! 🤣😂
I was very lucky when I booked my 15 Night Cultural Crossing with Paris & London (Rotterdam to Ft. Lauderdale)for next October. I have the “have it all packaged” which includes premium Wi-Fi , drinks up to $15 specialty dining, short excursion and gratuity.

Worth it! By the time you price out an excursion, specialty dining and wifi you are at $11 dollars per day for drinks.

you forgot to say you can get unlimited soda now going to Alaska the credit for excursions is good
before we never got WiFi but few cruise ago had issues at home were my son was able tell use what was happening and also we cruise during a hurricane and it was useful to see how our home was doing during the storm we have cruise over 20 times and went from inside to balcony
when you get older you like the better cabins its like you said you need to see what would make your cruise better in Sept going to Alaska on Holland with have it all package

I recently discovered your videos and have enjoyed what I have seen! You may have answered this in a previous video, but here is my question... We have a large amount of onboard credit for a cruise, and there are excursions we would like to take. Can we book shore excursions before the cruise, using the onboard credit? What about booking specialty dining using the HIA dining credit?
I wish!! You have to WAIT until you are onboard to using any onboard credits =)
Gratuities will take up a large portion of them!

Hello. Christina Holland America have a daily service fees $17 daily ,I just want to know do we still have to tip dinning room waiters and the staffs doing daily room cleaning? Thanks
