There's an actual reason for the guns to sound like that. Cod is in the esports is much more competitive tan bf if you put that loud sounds in competitive match it would be difficult to hear the commentarist of the game.

Xikun Gao That happens on BF1 every now and then but its only with a few guns. I’ll have one or two rounds left and a 5 round clip is inserted. I think its the Gewher 95 or Gewher 98 im not sure which one

STL3FIFA That’s not only for certain guns, but there’s a reason for it. Say you have a gun that has a 10 round magazine. You shoot 7 bullets. In BF1 you will only have 3 bullets left in the magazine. So your character, instead of reloading 7 bullets individually, will load 1 stripper clip (5 bullets) and 2 individual bullets. 5+2=7. 7+3=10. It makes perfect sense to do it like that cause it’s quicker. In COD if you have a 10 round magazine on a bolt action rifle, you shoot 7 bullets, they’ll reload 1 stripper clip (5 bullets) and you’ll be back at 10. Even if you shot all 10 bullets you will only load 5. Cause 5=10 simple math. Kek
PoeticWhisper yeah and it's because Cod are lazy fucks. If you have 1 bullet remaining you'll reload with a stripper clip with 5 bullets... But Battlefield has so many different reloading animations. For example the Repetierpistole m1912 if you fire 1 bullet your player will eject out 7 bullets and put in a stripper clip of 8. If you fire 3 bullets it will eject out 5 bullets.

It's_ HELL lol ikr, he loads the gun with a stripper clip FROM THE SIDE... that doesn’t work like that. Round by round with a sight on that rifle
Technically one could modify the rifle by carving a new (or perhaps, from the factory simply manufacturing it to be so) clip guide at an angle. It would be much more difficult to push the rounds into the magazine however. Peter R. Senich's The German Sniper 1914 - 1945 , there is a picture of a Kar98k with the charger guide machined into the receiver about 45 degrees to the right of where it would be normally. The model was never put into full production however.
Maybe since it was produced with the scope the feed clip chamber is slanted slightly?

Totally agree. Springfield with scope just over the bolt can only be reloaded round per round. Same for the Lee Enfield later in the vid. COD make games mostly for money but don't pay attention to such small details.
@Ziad Khaled There isn't any space though when the scope is mounted above the receiver as the scope would block the stripper clip.
@Ziad Khaled Wait, wut? How am I complaining? I just wanted to say how clips work in tandem with scopes. Besides, criticisms can lead to the game being good since the devs could fix something that's wrong or broken and most of them have the goal of making the game better. Though, a mistake in the reload animations wouldn't be the biggest problem in a game.

It is COD we're talking about and the community, in general, is not the friendliest. Besides, isn't MW2019 well-received? It's not perfect but from what I've heard, people liked it enough (never played it though). Now it's the opposite as BFV is getting bashed (for good reason) and CODMW2019 is getting decent praise (especially for Warzone).

Not saying the game was pure crap; I had enjoyable moments but I'm not gonna deny how the game is full of problems. Also, the support for the game is over so RIP.

I really wanna give CoDWW2 a chance... Having played CoD since CoD2, WW2 is just a lazy piece of work and the little details that matters just flew over the developers heads but I'm all about offline & singleplayer and the campaign, (although generic in a lot of ways with few twists and turns) is the only thing keeping me hooked to the game

The first time I went on Battlefield 1, I shot an smg just to get a feel for the controls. The sound nearly broke my eardrums and I loved it.

Special note about the Mosin Nagant in BF1. If you reload with one bullet left in the gun, the player model inserts a full stripper clip into the gun, but takes one bullet away and pockets it.
Amazing attention to detail on that.

Battlefield 1's overall weapon sound design is so on point. Every gun sounds really satisfying and the animation match the sound effect pretty much perfectly.
The Battlefield 1 sounds are way more beefy than the Cod ww2 sounds in my opinion.

Rizkiradi Alam MG 15 Aircraft machine gun was reverse engineered to be used by infantry because it wasn’t practical in planes.
Just say 'flamethrower' if you're worried about spelling...
CoD is way too fast-paced for loading individual bullets, and the bare-handed flamethrower is because it's a killstreak that any player can pull out, where BF1 has one specific class/character model that can use flamethrowers.
i may have misread a few things on some books, but weren't they used on stationary positions?

Comparing vehicles and comparing video games are very different. Cars will always change, video games will change, yes, but will always keep their style. so theres really no point in saying that one is better than the other if the other will always be the same. CoD and Bf aren’t supposed to be the same thus comparing them makes you look stupid. For example comparing Black Ops 2 to Black Ops 3 is logical because they’re both from the same developers. But if you want to compare CoD WW2 to Battlefield 1, it doesn’t make sense because they’re made by different developers. See my point?

Okay, Springfield with canted scope was totally accurate, while in COD WWII, you just can't load a strip clip in the gun when scope's blocking the way, same goes for the bolt.

Because Battlefield and Cod are two extremely different games with one going for Battlefield simulation and another going for high paced skill based gameplay.

It is based on the animation style and attention to detail, like how when reloading a rifle in BF1 the clip holding the rounds comes out after they're in the gun but in ww2 it stays in the rifle. Also some guns may be different but they're all similar, these wars were not very far apart so weaponry was not extremely more advanced and as you can see even some guns from the first world war made it into the second one. So It is nowhere based on the wars it is on which shows the soldier actually reloading the gun properly and how fast it is done as if it was in reality.

Call of duty is an arcade shooter, BF isn’t. So I think Battlefields graphics are better and smoother, and cod just went for a fun game you can just sit down and play. (opinion)

Da Heat Doe Battlefield's level of realism? Really? Battlefield is more over the top than COD. Plus, the cinematography in Battlefield is colourful which isn't realistic, meanwhile COD is very gritty with washed-out colours, which is far more realistic.

ReactedClown136 In ww1 most American and European nations ordered new guns for nearly every battle due to some guns being unstable at the time, if no new guns were supplied the commander would occasionally order the soldier's to clean their gun as much as possible so that once the battle begins there was a less chance of the gun becoming jammed, giving the shiny look of a new gun (hence why you practically always spawn with a shiny weapon and when you do happen to run into some mud or a grenade blows up near you your gun turns dirty). In the mid 1930's they started re-using guns even if they did happen to be "battle scarred". This way saved countries plenty of money to help create new war weapons such as the nuclear bomb, this is also the reason cod ww2 looks "dirty" most of the time because of the amount of guns that were re-used. They are both pretty accurate for their timeline.
It was so ugly that everyone died I don't think that's what he meant. Some weapons especially medic rifles have zero texture on them giving a plastic look (not just shiny). There are some weapons that got so much loving when being designed. The Gewehr 98 looks fucking stunning but that clearly came at a cost of some of the other weapons in the game.

I choose to prefer BF1 not because I think this COD is bad but because I think it gives a better experience when playing with friends and I don't think COD offers this. However without friends BF1 becomes gruelling and leaves the player without any way of impacting the game effectively and COD would be better in this situation. Just my opinion.

TacticalBacon i play both. Your sorry ass game always fails to not bore me. Left ww2 in a week and a half. Bo3 bored me to death aswell. The only game i played properly was bo2 and cod4. Bf always keeps me hooked on. Bf3 was one of the best games i played imo.

The reloads are cheesy in Battlefield one and some animations are wacky. And they are not more hard hitting. The guns in Call of duty are since they actually don't use muzzle velocity like Battlefield. Battlefields muzzle velocities are several times slower than real life which makes it silly in combat and it's more like shooting a laser in star wars. (I play both games and enjoy both)
