I can tell that you actually love One Piece a lot and you genuinely see the show as it is, and understands every different perspectives. I think you did an extremely great job with this video and I hope that your channel can grow (if that's what you are hoping to be, a youtube). I do agree with most of things you have said. I think One Piece is amazing as it is, and there is no reason to let the world know about this masterpiece, if people can't appreciate it. Let them be, its their loss.
Thank you. this is the best comment I ever got tho I do have to tell you this is a ai voice and not my real voice I explain the reason for that in the pinned comment. but again thanks for this lovely comment
@@Neamio I see! no probs! I love the videos, it was passionate, it felt like it was you speaking to us from your heart. I do think the video is a little on the slower pace, so it might lose some audiences who have shorter attention span, but I think the overall editing style is quite nice, its gentle, informative, and it retains the attention by providing something interesting / "sub-topic" happening every 30sec. I hope your channel becomes as big as you hoped!
Regarding the part about rushing the journey, I'm a bit torn. Being in the middle of Wano, I sometimes miss the small moments of getting to know the crew pre-timeskip. I think the fact that it took so long to solidify their personalities definitely pays off in these later arcs when we know exactly who they are and what they stand for. But then also, it's like this is like the 4th (5th?) time East Blue is being redone so if they feel the need to fast forward a little bit, I understand, for example Usopp fighting Chew in Arlong Park (an important scene to showcase who he is and how he fights) could take half an episode before the eye catcher instead of however long Toei took. But then again, this will be the very first iteration of One Piece that some people see and it's important that those fans are respected and come to love the show and the characters as much as everyone else does. Ahhh, this is a long way to say I trust Wit Studio?? I think this is going to be phenomenal for old and new fans alike. They're working too hard to put out something bad, and they're also in the unique position of knowing what's coming wayyyy further down the line than Toei did (like I wonder if that will change how they do Sanji's backstory, or how they portray the Fish Men in Arlong Park?) All in all, thank you for the great video! The part at 0:36 with the circles was smoooooth.
I agree that rushing the story might not be appreciated by the One piece fans but the new adaptation of One piece is precisely being made for the anime fans who want to experience the humongous and magnificent world of one piece but struggle to commence it because of the staggering number of episodes they have to cover. But this new adaptation and approach of making one piece will bring new audiences to the show all around the globe.
At the start just wanna say one piece HAS good animation its just that its old so the first episodes have older styles fitting for their times. newer one piece animation is the best in the industry.
im on my third one piece run(skipping nothing) and still love it, it really is the greatest story ever told. im a bit afraid of all these new live action and adaptation and stuff maybe being one piece's downfall but i trust oda.
No, because by the time the anime wraps up Egghead, it’ll likely be Fall 2025. Kuma's backstory is expected to take up the first quarter (January to March), so most of 2025 will focus on Egghead. Expect two new openings on the first episode of 2025 and when we get to Elbaf next year.
The manga is the primary source from Oda himself. Everything Oda wants you to see and feel the way he intends comes from the manga. Who cares if it isn’t colorful.
-Nice video but i think it would be a lot better if you used your voice instead of the text-to-speech that you're using since it'll give your video some of the personality that it needs- edit: nvm just read your pinned comment
One piece was my first anime and i am a new bloomer but i took it in full stride and after catching up and watching all episodes waiting weekly for a new episode to drop i have since watched all of Dragon Ball and it's predecessors. I am struggling to find anything new and as much fun to watch I have watched a lot of anime now and feeling out of my anime watching element.. Nothing hold up like one piece im always searching for more story but there never is. Even when I finished the Dragon Ball series i felt like i was missing so much... I am excited to watch but I NEED MORE!!!
Before I finish your video I just wanna respond to your set-up and say that I believe One piece is just a story that is worth telling in every sort of media because the story is amazing. So wether people are anime fans or not this story is bound to catch you if you are open to it. That is why I fell in love with anime in the first place and for sure why I love One piece because of the amazing story telling of crazy things in a crazy world and show lots of humanity. Love the video!
Come on the animation and sound is possible the best there is! Especially from Dressrosa on. Wano was,a masterpiece on all levels. Pacing is maybe a problem if you have a shorter attention span. But fillers are needed in anime. Also it sets the mood of luffy. the easy-going Pirare king. Ofcourse the first arcs are more aimed at "children" and have aged not so well. but what anime has? Animation just gets better each year. Not sure I am waiting for a remake. Already got my doubts about the live-action show. Also you mentioned consistency, but every arc get a change in style by choice. Part of the show
8:02 Thank you! I agree, and that's my problem with OP Live Action. They cut Luffy interaction with ChouChou and Gaimon (small "unimportant" moments), but those 2 interaction are the scenes that highlighted how a good person Luffy is, not only to us, but to Nami. Because they cut that without any substitute scene to highlight Luffy's good personality, Luffy feels emptier than in the manga/anime. Therefore, there is no (believable) scene of Nami being conflicted when she was about to betray Luffy. There are also other scene that supposedly highlight Luffy personality that get cut, like the determination of Luffy when he was against Don Krieg. Luffy really feels empty in the Live Action. The excuse are always limited time, but they wasted it on Garp subplot. Also a lot of time wasted when the crew waiting for injured Zoro sleeping lol. From my perspectives, the LA only focused on the peak moment, but in a way they sacrificed a lot of moment that makes us love the characters.
I agree, But I still think it was overall pretty good but I do hope they improve this in season 2. And I think they are gonna do that because season 2 is not going to have alabasta, meaning more time is going to be dedicated to the smaller moments 😄
There is no way a live action can 100% properly do one piece. They would need a giant budget 25 episodes a season at least and film it continued with out much stopping to finish before the actors out age the roles. They will never do the whole series in live action. And what they will do should just be considered stand alone because it will never be as in depth as what a anime or manga can do for in depth world building and character depth. Most people that watch shows just want straight action anyway. that is who that is made for primarily.
A One Piece remake is inevitable. People have to consider that releasing a manga/anime on a schedule such as One Piece is akin to it basically being a rough draft for a story that would have otherwise been released more as a complete package. You just throw everything out there without consideration for final polish in the grand scheme of the story. A remake is going to do what One Pace has been doing for years but much better. It doesn't have to worry about catching up with source materiel so they don't stretch the content to 1 chapter per episode anymore. They can take liberties with the authors guidance to adapt to either add or change things with hindsight of knowing the story, giving the author the freedom of polishing the story that was developed by being forced through a schedule throughout the decades. With all of the story out there, you can basically think of it as a rough draft waiting to retold.
LOL, I have rewatched it like 8 times xD Up to date each time. This last time, I've been concurrently translating into finnish for my sons BESIDES DUDE! PELL AIN'T DEAD!
@@Neamiobtw I agree with you that the slow parts with silly conversations and humor are important. I would just cut excessive fodder scenes or repeat flashbacks. I actually didn't know about one pace. Let me check it out thanks!
The original anime picture quality started to suck like for example the important arc of wano and the fight between gear 5 luffy and kaido looked like a very bad version of Tom and Jerry even Tom and Jerry had better animation effect and fluidity than that and I don’t know why while it was a very easy job , just copy the pictures from the manga itself 😂
This is gonna be the darkest anime if wit makes it. Cus one piece is actually that dark. 🫡 slavery , genocide, betrayal, cannabalism, poverty every damn thing is gonna get extreme.
you arent dead in one piece until you see them with a hole in their body absolutely 100% dead. If they die like ace and whitebeard they are dead. If its a tease and you dont see them dead. They are alive and will return.
@@unseen26389 Zoro has been badly injured at times but never so wounded that he was dead. The mention there of Pell and Pagaya on skypiea were that Pell survived a point blank blast from a bomb meant to destroy a entire city area. And Pagaya survived millions of volts of electricity in a beam that incinerated the part of upper yard he was standing on. In all context they should have been dead. At least in the case of Saul surviving Ohara he was frozen so there is a more reasonable excuse in that survival. Pell and Pagaya just survived because Oda doesn't kill characters for the most part. a few have died. But not many at all.

And I STRONGLY disagree with showing haki pre-timeskip, doing that will only destroy the build up.
Noted I'll try to improve the pacing. Stay tuned for the next one then 😉
Regarding the part about rushing the journey, I'm a bit torn.
@@MeanieMosey I'm not reading all at but the for noticing the little circle graphic I did ☺
I just wanna know who will gonna be the music director of Onepiece remake 😂
Please be AOT's composer; I get goosebumps every time I hear the music when Reiner betrays Eren.
I watched the Netflix video and the look passionate about it and it gave me hope i can't wait to watch it
At the start just wanna say one piece HAS good animation its just that its old so the first episodes have older styles fitting for their times. newer one piece animation is the best in the industry.
im on my third one piece run(skipping nothing) and still love it, it really is the greatest story ever told. im a bit afraid of all these new live action and adaptation and stuff maybe being one piece's downfall but i trust oda.
Just started watching One Piece after having seen some episodes from when Luffy reached the gear 5 joyboy form. I have been missing out
Can WIT studio surpass the animation of Wano and Egghead Arcs? Because TOEI is taking animation so seriously now.
Let's hopr
Easily. Wano's animation is NOT that good. It's just colorful, but it feels weird to watch.
@@geritoxnm I agree a bit but you gotta be lying tp urself if u dont think the fights arent peak. Egghead as a whole has amazing animation
I just hope Wit Studio adapts the cover stories. That way, we won't have filler arcs.
@@geritoxnmcompared to the pre wano animation its amazing, sometimes it looks pretty bad but fights are peak
Can’t wait to see gear 5 in the remake
@@ojodemercurio7657 well would be glad to live that long
I wish Berserk and Yu Yu Hakusho would get a remake like this man
Whats crazy is that next year i have a feeling that the One piece Remake, live action and new anime arc (elbaf) are releasing in the same month.
Bro your editing is so good 🗿
@@Lawgotdrip-zr1fy thx man ❤
It's very likely the soundtrack will get replace entirely, that's what I'm concerned with the most
The manga is the primary source from Oda himself. Everything Oda wants you to see and feel the way he intends comes from the manga. Who cares if it isn’t colorful.
-Nice video but i think it would be a lot better if you used your voice instead of the text-to-speech that you're using since it'll give your video some of the personality that it needs-
edit: nvm just read your pinned comment
😅
One piece was my first anime and i am a new bloomer but i took it in full stride and after catching up and watching all episodes waiting weekly for a new episode to drop i have since watched all of Dragon Ball and it's predecessors. I am struggling to find anything new and as much fun to watch I have watched a lot of anime now and feeling out of my anime watching element.. Nothing hold up like one piece im always searching for more story but there never is. Even when I finished the Dragon Ball series i felt like i was missing so much... I am excited to watch but I NEED MORE!!!
@@SkeppyJ Try reading the web novel called lord of the mysteries
Before I finish your video I just wanna respond to your set-up and say that I believe One piece is just a story that is worth telling in every sort of media because the story is amazing. So wether people are anime fans or not this story is bound to catch you if you are open to it. That is why I fell in love with anime in the first place and for sure why I love One piece because of the amazing story telling of crazy things in a crazy world and show lots of humanity. Love the video!
Thx and I agree
8:32 I saw that face bruh 😭😭
6:25 i love the sound design lol
Thank you so much 😭 You have no idea how much I appreciate that. (Check 8:50 aswell)
I’ve watched the anime in its entirety twice already 😂 I’m down for a 3rd time
Come on the animation and sound is possible the best there is! Part of the show
If you can give me an animanga that DOMINATES 3 mediums, you can't say it's better than One Piece.
I will watch remake too but. Those who will only watch remake they aren't the real fans. Og one piece is the greatest.
Really hope this is good.
Are they gonna bring the original va? Or its different voices?
Thx for mentioning LOTM it is top tier fiction and ofc one piece
🤞
I agree with everything you said, however, thre is NO WAY I could watch one piece without the original voice cast...
Gotta adapt
nice edit & vid, but i think ur own voice would be better than ai
@@luizozbal5255 Thx man, and I explain in the pinned comment why I had to use a AI voice
Marineford will be a full-course dinner with the redrawing and better pacing
@@Bosellii on god bro I can't wait 😭
I will actually watch this remake. Im a one piece noobie
u cant believe like i am seeing some creator so salty about this remake cause they cant hate on op with the same excuse cant wait for it
Lmao which creator, I really do wan't to know.
LOL, I have rewatched it like 8 times xD Up to date each time. This last time, I've been concurrently translating into finnish for my sons

Sooo if both live action and the remake exist in one platform how do the live action actors feel about this
Probs pretty good, they are one piece fans so they would love more content lol
do a video on lord of the mysteries bro
I'll try
I love Toei's work on One Piece. So many incredible moments. I would rather have the same anime but re-edited to cut the fat and excess.
One Pace exists brother
@@Neamiobtw I agree with you that the slow parts with silly conversations and humor are important. I would just cut excessive fodder scenes or repeat flashbacks.
I actually didn't know about one pace. Let me check it out thanks!
@@HeelPower200 ☺
The original anime picture quality started to suck like for example the important arc of wano and the fight between gear 5 luffy and kaido looked like a very bad version of Tom and Jerry even Tom and Jerry had better animation effect and fluidity than that and I don’t know why while it was a very easy job , just copy the pictures from the manga itself 😂
@@The-One01 Man wtf is bro yapping about, the best animated fight in all of anime
This is gonna be the darkest anime if wit makes it. Cus one piece is actually that dark. 🫡
slavery , genocide, betrayal, cannabalism, poverty every damn thing is gonna get extreme.
Finally someone talks about how Pell, the bald man from Skypiea and a dosen other characters should have just died
you arent dead in one piece until you see them with a hole in their body absolutely 100% dead. If they die like ace and whitebeard they are dead. If its a tease and you dont see them dead. They are alive and will return.
Zoro should have died multiple times. You wouldn't suggest they kill him off.
