A good recommendation Stuart Leader Locomotive , the APT as you say has such a big overhang , have noted a lot that bought them had problems on there layouts and had to change a few part of the tracks to accommodate these , I personally am not a fan of them so after all the problems they can cause just glad i did not buy one , saying that though it does look well on your layout.....
Nice. Runs smoothly. Certainly has a big overhang. Doesn't really blend into the rest of the layout though. A high speed train running beside an old steam engine pulling what looked like WW1 tanks? So be it... All of our layouts are like that at some point... 👍 Mon from Monsville Railways.
I've always stressed that whilst my layout is mainly Southern Railway/Region sometimes I go off topic and buy and run rolling stock that appeals to me ! I admire people such as my previous video on the gentleman that runs his layout based on the GWR in 1930, but that's not for me. I appreciate you watching the video and commenting, its appreciated, Hollpoll
APT was impressive, but the black BR streamlined Duchess got a wow from me! (City of Lancaster?)
Its City of Glasgow was upgraded from LMS numbering to BR , thanks for watching, Hollpoll
Always like to look at this fascinating layout.
Thanks for posting.
Thanks for that, Hollpoll

Can't understand why I haven't found your channel before , well I have now and following . Fabulous layout .
Thanks for the kind comments, Hollpoll
I’m sure the commuters at Angeltown East got a surprise when the APT turned up instead of the usual Hornby 2BIL set! That’s a fine model from Rapido!
Thanks Andrew
The APT is nice, but I prefer Mr. BR Blue & Grey HST.
