They should also be held resposnsible pag napatunayan mo na waal ka naman ileegal na gagawin and you are just want to have your va cation tapos inoofload ka. Dapat nila sagutin yung air fare/ticket mo. Dapat nga pati abaal eh sagot nila. Balance lang kasi kung wala silang pananagutan super prone sa power trip yang posisyon nila.

I was on my way to South Korea (my 2nd trip) at gi-deny ako ng immigration officer kasi wala akong return ticket. I tried to explain pero tinawag nya na ang next person in line. What I did was, I went to a different line and the immigration officer let me go. Sabi nya, dalian mo ma'am baka maiwan ka ng eroplano. It depends kung sino ang mag-interview.

I consider SG as my second home. I fly there at least once a year kasi SG citizen Kuya ko dun. Maski maglakad ka ng pass midnight you are safe. Next time try mga parkain sa mga hawker centers. Mura na mas masarap pa.

Hi sis. Solo and 1st time din ng boyfriend ko mag travel. Ako yung sponsored niya pero may affidavit namin kami naka ready. Doon na kami mag kikita sa BALI kasi dito ako naka base sa Australia. First time ko ding nag travel mag isa pa Thailand in 2004. Exit lng din sana ang plan ko, d pa gaanong strick ang immigration natin noon! After a year, naku dami nang pumunta ng Thailand. Kaya nag higpitan na ang daming requirements!! Pa swerte nlng, never pa na offload labas pasok ng Pinas!! So thankful that God is really good, dito na kmi USA🙏🙏🙏

Same tayo ng experienced. 1999 yun first travel ko international at sa Europe pa. Buti na lang sponsored ako ng boss ng nanay ko. Ganyan na ganyan ginawa sa akin, gumawa rin ako ng letter na babalik ako.
3 months ako nagbakasyon sa mama ko and happy naman ako. After that, hindi na sila naging mahigpit sa akin kapag lalabas ako ng bansa.

I am an expat in Singapore before and now in another country. Tlgang naoofload ang may hidden agenda, trained ang IO sa ganyan and if people think sa Pilipinas lang ganun, they are wrong even Singapore is strict with tourists esp coming from countries like Philippines, also strict din ang IO ng Australia, Taiwan, Canada etc... makalabas ka man ng Pinas pag may hidden agenda ka such as to find work pwede ka rin ipa airport to airport ng immigration ng ibang bansa meaning hindi papasukin. I have seen Pinays na di pinapasok sa Singapore bec the IO of SG caught them na ang agenda nila is not to be a tourist but maghahanap sila dun work eh bawal dun yun. Know the immigration law both sa country natin at sa pupuntahang bansa. We cant blame te IO if theyre strict they are just doing their job. Marami kasing cases of human trafficking, for sale brides, illegal recruitment, etc...mga undocumented workers kasi lumabas ng illegal tapos pag nagka problema sa bansang pinuntahan nila gastos at cargo ng gobyerno ang pagpoprovide sa knila ng legal, deportation at kung anu anu pang assistance. Good job sa iyo and thank you for making it clear na iba iba tlga ang approach ng IO sa tao, they knw the psychology of finding out who lies abt their visa status and those who jst really want to travel. @@thebest9549 simply because a visa alone or a tourist visa to be specific does not determine the true purpose of the travel. One can possess a tourist visa going to the US or Australia but has plans of ending up a TNT there, or one can have a visa to Japan but is actually just a front to enter the country legally but is actually going to work in a prostitution den etc... Just a few days ago there were several Pinoys jailed in Myanmar. They apparently left the country disguised as tourist but actually seeking employment in Thailand and they ended up victims of human trafficking. These are just a few examples of the possible reasons i have already mentioned above that the govt is trying to avoid and why trying to avoid? Kasi pag nagkaroon ng problema sa ibang bansa buti sana kung problema lang nila yun, eh problema din sya ng gov't. The govt will have to provide and exhaust all legal assistance and deportation if ever magka aberya itong mga tourista or undocumented (illegal) workers sa ibang bansa. Hence, the strict screening by the IO of our citizens leaving the country as TOURISTS.
@@iamred5728 kung haharangin ng mga IO ng ibang bansa yung mga kababayan natin na pumunta dun, then let them, hayaan nang sila na lang ang humarang, wag na humarang yung IO natin sa mga kababayan natin sa pag alis. Meron constitutional liberty to abode or freedom to travel at hindi pwede ma deprive yun ng walang due process. Yung immigration officers ng ibang bansa ay may karapatan humarang sa kapwa Pinoy na papunta sa bansa nila, yung sarili nating immigration officers ay walang discretionary function kasi kung may function sila na mag offload ng pasahero sa discretion nila, edi siguradong maaabuso yun. Ultra vires act nga yung ginagawa ng immigration officers natin na nag o-offload ng mga kapwa Pilipino na papunta sa ibang bansa dahil lang hindi "pumasa" sa interview at saka sa "background checks" nila eh. Ang ibigsabihin ng ultra vires act ay yung gumagawa ng aksyon na hindi naman sakop ng kapangyarihan. Yung interview at background check pati narin sa financial capabilities ay ginagawa pag mag a apply ng visa okaya pwede din mag interview yung immigration officer sa destination country. Kung sasabihin ng immigration officers natin na i o offload ka dahil may suspicion sila sayo na mag o overstay ka okaya mag huhuman trafficking ka, speculation lang yun dahil ang sistema natin ay innocent until proven guilty. Ang pwede lang magsabi na hindi pwede umalis sa Pilipinas ang Pilipino ay korte lang. Pag may plane ticket, passport at appropriate visa ka at walang hold departure order laban sayo, edi walang dahilan ang immigration officer ng Pilipinas na i offload ka, hindi yung hihingi sila ng mga ek ek na extra-legal requirements, ultra vires act yun eh. Kung halimbawa, sa US pupunta yung Pilipino, mas marunong pa ba yung mga IO natin kaysa sa US consular officer na nag approve ng visa? Dapat nga lahat ng mga Pinoy na inoff-load ng mga Philipine IO dahil lang sa speculations ay idemanda at kasuhan yung mga immigration officers na yan para yung mga natitirang immigration officers natin ay ayusin yung mga trabaho nila eh. Dapat wag ipagtanggol yung mga ultra vires act ng mga IO ng Pilipinas, kung anong authority nila, yun lang dapat gawin.

@@evangel7507 the law does not say it is only the court who should decide if one can be restricted of travelling. You cannot also say hayaan na lang ang ibang immigration sa bansa na mag offload. If an influx of cases like that happens due to our kababayans illegal activity to enter a certain coutry it also affects our international relations and those Pinoys who will be apprehended in another country, deported, tagged A2A will still have to be provided with legal and deportation assistance by the government. Those who have visa, return ticket are not the ones offloaded, it is mostly those who cannot specifically back up their "tourist" status esp in a visa free country. We can claim it is an ultra vires act but the law on travel has a clause that also recognizes rules that can be adopted by the govt that are in the interest of national security, public safety, or public health, unless we can refute that their actions is not covered by that clause then it will still be deemed constitutional and justifiable. Maybe aside from calling out the strict measures of our Immigration we must also looked into the actions of our kababayans that resulted to this. Dati wala nman ganyan eh. I was able to travel for the first time as a student without getting offloaded and intensely interrogated. Ngayon damay damay na kasi marami din gumagawa tlga ng mali yan ang di rin natin dpaat pagtakpan take for example the recent case of those who were jailed in Myanmmar. For me i und both sides, pag wala balak na di tama wlaa nman nagiging prob sa pag alis im sure those who were able to travel even for the first time without being interrogated so much can attest to this.

Hello, I am sponsoring my girlfriend's trip to Portugal. I signed a term of responsibility recognized by a lawyer here. She has no ties to the country, first time leaving the country and no job. How likely is it for her to get offloaded ? I'm thinking about buying a ticket to go there and go back so she can go through immigration with her. The letter says I am her boyfriend already. The reason of the trip is to get married in Portugal. What information should be provided to immigration officers and how to approach them ?
Try to research all the need documents to prove the purpose of the travel. Just be honest and prepared.
Even if you come to accompany her, there is a high chance she will get offloaded. I suggest she visits the Phil embassy or DFA to get a proper advise on what visa you both need to apply or documents you need to furnish. Usually those who will marry outside of the Philippines will have to apply the appropriate visa, that is the legal way and not just leave the country under the disguise of being a tourist when the main purpose was marriage. If the purpose is marriage, a fiance / immigrant visa must be applied and that will involve both your country and the PH embassy. The Philippine law is strict with travel among its citizens because of cases of drug/human trafficking, prostitution, illegal recruitment, agency work scam, mail to order brides etc...the citizens, whatever happens to them in other countries whether it is their fault or not the gov't takes the headache and the responsibility of providing them legal, consular etc...assistance. The legal way is to secure the appropriate visa that serves the purpose of that travel outside the country.

Once you got offloaded or naiwan ka ng original flight mo, and after 48yrs sa pag sagot sa IO here in Pinas, did you buy another plane ticket (own pocket) or were you bumped on the next available flight (same airline)?

Base po sa mga napapanood ko, depende sa airline. Pero na advice sa akin ng Agency ko na once ma offload ako no refund, no rebooking. As in back to zero then may aasikasuhin pa sa Immig po. Super hassle daw po.

No. Your student status is not their concern, their concern is if you can support your travel and whatever happens during the travel. In short, dpat capable kayo to support yung sinasabi nyong tour at hindi kayo magiging problema ng govt kung saka sakali (*knock on wood*) may aberya abroad.

There's no issue if one is unemployed, their issue is if you can support yourself in that travel and for whatever may happen during the travel. In short, they are under the assumption na walang nagtotour dapat na walang pera or pang gastos sa pupuntahan nila. Thats a basic principle not only sa Pinas but in other countries as well. So if your problem is just bec you are unemployed you just have to prove to them na may pera ka or may source of funds ka for that travel. Kung sagot lahat ng friend mo i think mahihirapan ka, hindi kayo sabay iinterviewhin ng friend mo sa IO counter usually one at a time yan kahit group pa magkakasama, unless your friend can provide you what the IO asks and he will be accountable to you.
Pag na offload kayo, demanda or kasuhan niyo yung immigration officer na nag offload sa inyo, pag nagsabi yung immigration officer na i o offload niya kayo, tawag na kayo ng abogado.

Proof ng income niya na kaya niya kayo ishoulder and everything. :) Basta po honest kayo, complete papers/docs at hindi mag TNT, makakaalis po kayo.

@@benzkiebenny2454 I lived in Singapore and sa Singapore hindi pwede makikinig ka sa sabi sabi lang. What if required tlga na may booster ka tapos andun ka na sa IO ng Singapore? Hindi ka nila papapasukin sa SG. Worst airport to airport ka. Yung mga requirements for travelling you need to see it for yourself wag makinig sa sabi lang. Having said that, it means pumunta ka sa website ng Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) ng Singapore at hanapin mo ang latest advisory nila for tourists arriving in SG. Do the same with Philippine IO. Mas maganda iprint mo pa.
