- Egypt has reportedly deployed additional military convoys at its border with Gaza amid escalating tensions with Israel over its offensive in Rafah.
Egypt has rejected an Israeli proposal for the two countries to coordinate to re-open the Rafah crossing between Egypt's Sinai Peninsula and the Gaza Strip, and to manage its future operation, two Egyptian security sources said.

Egypt did offer to take critically injured Palestinians to their hospitals in Egypt a while back. They made an entire hospital available and brought in hundreds of extra staff, Nurses and Doctors.
Some patients were transferred but Israel blocked the continuing transfer of patients and blew up the ambulances they were traveling in.
