Best live band of the planet!! The song is about a real case of cannibalism that happened in Germany a few years ago. For a vocal coach a great song to react is "Ich Tu Dir Weh" live in Madison Square Garden, Till has some his best vocals and a great contrast between harsh and clean in the song.
I was in the crowd at this performance. And yes, seeing it live is just as unsettling as you would imagine given the background of the lyrics 😅 Still, one of the most impressive live performances at a festival I've ever seen. They were definitely NOT cutting back on the pyrotechnics lol
This is an old performance. I saw Rammstein live in 2018 and now there is a THIRD.... uh... "thrower" on stange, which can be described as nothing else but a canon!
What you call the satanic mumbling is rendition of the real ad used by cannibal Armin Meiwes used to advertise for partner ..., translates to ..“Looking for a well-built 18 to 30-year-old to be slaughtered” The Master Butcher
I would like to suggest a cover that Tarja made of Rammstein's song "Ohne dich". The cover was extremely beautiful. It was recorded at a church in Wacken. Tarja is accompanied only by a piano, a cello and a violin. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/uUAzRN9Co7s/w-d-xo.html This is a video with 6 songs, but in the description it has the name of the songs for you to click and be taken directly to the song you want.
8:33 there is a human in there Pay attention to the guitarist who is 1 meter from the flame. The keyboard player is safer in the pot than the guitarist. If Till aimed something wrong and the poor man would be on fire.
I've scanned and couldn't find someone who shared the names of people this song is about- Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes, cannibal and knowing victim - respectively.
It's really musical theatre instead of just a concert. They have different acts, they do on tour. There was one though that they got arrested for in the USA. :D
Rammstein - Ich tu dir weh (live) at Madison Square Garden pls Apocalyptica - 'Seemann' feat. Nina Hagen (Official Video) (Rammstein Cover) pls pls pls
How about the cover of the Rammstein song Seemann by Apocalyptica and Nina Hagen. She sounds really great in that song and doesn't do her usual chicken sounds and all that.
According to well timed pyrotecnics….please haave a look at the gratest Show on eaarth - nigtwish - live at Tampere...I think it was 2015... Greetz from Germany
Mein Herz brennt (Piano Version) is a must for vocalists. th-cam.com/video/Dv6Th7kJ64Q/w-d-xo.html - some comprehensive background on "Mein Teil" The song is inspired by the case of Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes. In March 2001, in Rotenburg an der Fulda, the two men aged in their 40s met each other, cut off and cooked Brandes' penis and consumed it together. Afterwards, Meiwes killed Brandes - with Brandes' permission - and ate his remains. As a result, Meiwes was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in jail for manslaughter, but was later charged with murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. According to bassist Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, the song came about after "one of our members brought a newspaper to rehearsal and it had a story about the cannibal guy in it. We were fascinated, shocked and amused at the same time". Vocalist Till Lindemann stated, "It is so sick that it becomes fascinating and there just has to be a song about it".[2] A prominent phrase in the song is "... denn du bist, was du isst, und ihr wisst, was es ist" ("Because you are what you eat, and you (pl.) know what it is"). (from wikipedia)
Haha you definitely did the most disturbing song from Rammstein. 😁 I think you should try to react to "Ich tu Dir weh" live from Madison Square Garden. th-cam.com/video/6TR12QnOAzE/w-d-xo.html or to "Engel" live from Madison Square Garden. Both are insane performances but Till is also singing 😂
This Song is based on a Real Crime of canibalism here in germany 🙈 But the Version from the Stadium Tour is much better because the Show is a little bit different 😏 HOTTER 🤭🔥
lol whats that in the back there? Your JIM BEAM Alcoholics certificate ? you look like a hard rock version of NED FLANDERS !! A twitch vocal coach ..can it be ANY GAYER than that?.. i guess not !! ^^ .. love ya.. just fkn with ya
Hell yeah Rammstein! I think you'd like "Ich tu dir weh" from their Madison Square Garden concert
Yes please. Completely agree
Yes!
And the song is for real case in Germany.

I just love Rammstein. Till' voice is so iconic and most -- if not all -- of their lyrical content is sheer poetry.
"You have a pussy! I have a dickaa!" Poetry! Lmao

@@forkless chill man, I'm joking. Rammstein is awesome.
But maybe you can explain the wordplay anyways?
His flamethrower got bigger for the stadium shows in 2019
Till's lyricism is always full of double meanings and nuances that only work in German so unfortunately translations always lose a lot of the poetry
I'm 37 now, and I fell in love with this band at age 14. I still feel like a giddy teenager each time I see them live.
Till always looks happy when setting things on fire
You are Right. He is a certified pyrotechnician

🤔 Isn't this song about a true story about a German kannibal?
Yep
In true Rammstein fashion
Armin Meives or similar can't remember exactly
Yes I am from German and the story is true

Love the commentary about the explosions as percussive elements of the performance! So true!!!

Great Reaction. If you want to hear something more melodic from Rammstein, you should check out "Ich tu dir weh" and "Rammlied".
This is an old performance. I saw Rammstein live in 2018 and now there is a THIRD.... uh... "thrower" on stange, which can be described as nothing else but a canon!
Hey Charlie, how about checking out Mein herz brennt, piano version? It's quite a different sound, and it puts Till's voice in focus.
First row - no eyebrows 🔥
Great reaction LOL Rammstein is the best I have never seen them live but I’ve got tickets to see them in September I can’t wait!!!!
I was at their Show in 2012. Standing near the Stage. Oh you have no idea how terribly hot it was. I think i lost some hair at this Show 😂🥵
On the Stadium tour you got roasted in the whole stadium :D I was in Berlin and it already was hot AF cause record summer heat and then oh no :D
Till Lindemann has been a trained pyrotechnician since 1996
I had a ticket to finally see Rammstein and then Covid hit. I hope I manage to still go after the reschedule, they get sold out so fast.
What you call the satanic mumbling is rendition of the real ad used by cannibal Armin Meiwes used to advertise for partner ..., translates to ..“Looking for a well-built 18 to 30-year-old to be slaughtered”
The Master Butcher
If I remember correctly, it's Oliver Riedel the bassist reading the ad. The live version has a slowed down recording of him reading the ad.
Believe it or not Till the lead singer deals with stage fright......... I suggest ...Angel
Ich liebe RAMMSTEIN ♥️😍🥰💕💕💕💕
love your reaction. please check out Mein herz brennt(piano version) that one show cases his voice pretty well.

Seconded
Sería hermoso que Till y Tarja hicieran una canción algún día juntos ya que ella canta en alemán y es gran fan de Rammstein
This Song based on a true Story about Canabalism in Rothenburg view years ago!
Greetings from Germany
I'd recommend ich tu dir weh by Rammstein. Till really shows off in that one!
8:33 there is a human in there
Pay attention to the guitarist who is 1 meter from the flame. The keyboard player is safer in the pot than the guitarist. If Till aimed something wrong and the poor man would be on fire.
Maybe more Rammstein? 👀🤗
You should do ‚Mein Herz brennt - Piano Version‘ Next. And ‚Ich tu dir weh - Madison Square Garden‘
Mein teil is based on a real event where a german guy advertised for another man to eat.....he got an answer and went through with it.
Its a real theater but in rock form hahah
I've scanned and couldn't find someone who shared the names of people this song is about- Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes, cannibal and knowing victim - respectively.
I feel like Ich Tu Dir Weh is slightly better as an example of Till's vocals, but this 100% works well too :')
It's really musical theatre instead of just a concert. They have different acts, they do on tour. There was one though that they got arrested for in the USA. :D
Its a misical theatre!
I don't know if anyone in the twitch chat told you, but teil in German means both part (as in a part of something) and tail/ass.
Rammstein - Ich tu dir weh (live) at Madison Square Garden pls
Apocalyptica - 'Seemann' feat. Nina Hagen (Official Video) (Rammstein Cover) pls pls pls
How about the cover of the Rammstein song Seemann by Apocalyptica and Nina Hagen. She sounds really great in that song and doesn't do her usual chicken sounds and all that.
