- Hi everyone! Welcome back to my Home Renovation series!! We are now on SERIES 3 yippee!! This is the interiors edition where each episode takes you through a different room from start to finish. The first room to be completed is our kitchen. Our DREAM kitchen at that! We spent months in the run up to the build designing this space and really thinking about how we could maximise its potential.
We ordered our kitchen with Wren Kitchens, sourced the worktop locally in Kingston, got appliances from various websites linked below and styled and accessorised from many different brands. I hope you love it as much as we do!

All this information is well received on my end. I remember in another episode when you recalled paint and what type to use, big lesson learned for me because I used a less expensive version in my living room and wished I used the more expensive brand. Will used the B & F in the kitchen, not sure about the baths. Loved the tour and of course especially seeing Winnie because as you know your audience just adores her.

I am a HUGE fan of seeing different kitchens and wow!!! yours is killing it. I especially like the undermount LED lights.
When we re-did our kitchen, we decided to spend the money to get what we wanted and have no regrets, so I understand

Awww… I bet you look back and can’t believe how far you’ve come! It’s fabulous. Do you have a built in extractor on the induction Jess? We are planning changes snd switching the sink and hob about. Any advice would be great. Thanks xx
thank yoU! we don't actually as our previous kitchen never had it so its not a legal requirement for us. check with building control before you make this decision and they'll be able to advise on your building. but the blanket rule is if there was never anything installed before then its not a legal requirement to install the extractor although it is highly recommended.

It is a lovely kitchen , In that spare space consider if you want a command centre with the ability to have a desk ,your lap top ou of the way some where to put items when you come in the door and pin up to do lists.

Wow it looks soo amazing I have loved watching all your videos in this series. Are you planning a fully enclosed cupboard to replace the temporary one opposite your fridge space or keep with the open shelf theme in this area with low cupboards? X
thank you so much! yes absolutely that pantry is just temporary. we're actually going to go back to wren and get maybe a pantry style cabinet to maximise height for more storage but hopefully it can have a work surface behind the doors to have the microwave on.

thank you! its actually from John Lewis its their standard range. we got it in 2017 but weirdly I remember the price of it 😂😂 it was £40 for the six person set hope that helps you to track it down.

when you do the extra cupboard maybe do it in satin matt; a plastic sink that must have been disappointing for you also hard to sterilise

Looks great! We ordered a Wren kitchen yesterday. How bright are the LED strips? Have you got yours on dimmers? Worried they'll be too bright if it's just an on/off switch
our electrician actually supplied the LED strip. we have it on a dimmer and keep it low as possible.

The cheaper stuff isn’t any harder to clean. I have an infinity plus , used to be called the Linda barker range which is the top of the line and the Matt does not clean well, you can see any marks on it when you look from a side and this happens right away. I have mine in Baltic

thank you!! we have a mixture of drawers and cupboards. the pan drawers, the plates and Tupperware are all in drawers then we have cupboards above and below the oven for trays and chopping boards then we have the tall cupboard for glasses and mugs :D

thank yoU!! its a BWT softener and our plumber installed it when they were fitting the boiler etc. ive just had a look on BWT website and when ordering you can add the option o install too

honestly i would not recommend it. its linked in the description. however it's actually plastic. i didnt realise this when i ordered it because it looks and feels like concrete but my builder was like yeah this is cheap. Our ceramic sink in the utility is FAR FAR FAR better a product and actually we do all bleaching and heavy duty anything in the utility because im so scared we will crack out sink in the main kitchen. It was the biggest mistake of our kitchen plan putting in a cheap sink under very expensive worktops so it cant be changed unless we remove the worktop which isnt going to happen!

no it was probably more like £17k if you include the worktops, wooden materials for utility unit, flooring and all appliances and installation.

Hi, we're thinking of updating our kitchen and so went to The Wren showroom in Chester. Saw a couple we liked and was quite impressed by the choices available. I looked up some reviews of Wren online and seen some dreadful content. I just wondered what your thoughts are. Thanks
hey! ok so ive had two experiences with Wren - firstly the original kitchen design which you can see in this video and then more recently we actually put in another unit where that freestanding pantry is. the two experiences were SO different. the first was amazing - our kitchen designer was so good, quick and listened to everything we asked for. There was an error in sizing of one of the units and Wren didnt even question it they sent another unit, refunded me my £99 delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill and everything was fine. the second experience was so different it was a different designer the guy took so long to get back to us with amends, i had to chase him three times for a price and then he never submitted the order on time so id already booked in builders and the unit never showed up when my builders arrived to build it. Very stressful and to be honest i wasnst even looking for financial compensation i just wanted an apology instead he ghosted my emails. so yeah long story short but it massively depends on the designer you're assigned can change the experience entirely. Wren's product is absolutely incredible we are so happy with the kitchen and i'd 100% be a return customer (and i'd request to change designers the second i got bad vibes 😂)

Not many people have a good experience using Wren.
ive heard that. but we had a great experience. it didnt come without errors but they were fixed immediately and I was so happy with the outcome id definitely be a repeat customer
