I must say I am enjoying these versions of Sherlock Holmes. The protrayal of the character is far more pleasant than the very arrogant one we usually get. Also Dr Watson ( who is afterall a profesional man in his own right) is given credit for having intelligence and is not undermined by Holmes as is the case in lots of other protrayals of him. I have never read the books so I don't know what type of personalities or type of people these characters were suppose to have. But i have never liked how they have come across on tv or radio until I came across these Memories. Thanks for sharing them.

I felt very much the same when I found this series a few yrs ago. One thing that I find frustrating yet comical, is how Watson, supposedly his bosom chum, doesn’t seem to know him at all really. He’s always fooled by Sherlock’s disguises & in this episode for example can’t see how he needs the mental stimulation to feel alive nor can he see thru his play acting. 🤦🏻‍♀️😄
