This narration is utterly awful in every possible way.
No sense of timing. Cadence. Characterisation.
Appalling enunciation
Zero concept of emphasis
And a singularly inappropriate (in this instance) American accent.
Appreciate the upload; for which, thank you.
But it makes for painful listening.
In fact; it’s pretty much impossible to get past five minutes … the clumsiness of the narration just gets in the way.
IMHO, naturally.
Very good narration but sadly missing the British accent that is key to Doyle’s writing..
