As the year is coming to an end, I just want to say a big thank you to everybody who has hung out with me this year. You have made this year really amazing! I hope the next year will be equally as awesome, and happy holidays to you all! 🤘 P.S., I’ll leave the “BACKINBLACK” promo code active in the shop for the rest of 2023. Treat yourself to something nice!
I've been hanging around with you since February. Video after video has been an enrichment for me! Thank you very much & all the best for you. P.S. I have given my Backinblackheavymetalparkingspotmerch wish list to my family..... I hope they know I take no prisoners when....... 😉 God Jul och heavy nytt år min vän!
@@michaelelse9328 Yeah! You've been a real trooper. Thank you for sticking around! 🤘 Let's hope Santa brings you something nice! 🎅 Have a great holiday and may you have a Savage new year! ✌
As a S40 owner I really wondered why on this earth this bike had 2 pieces marked as 'solenoids' as I was only able to understand the one used to bypass the starting circuit. Thank you so much for your efforts as I'm currently trying to fix my 2015 s40. (She has Oil Leakage and the new battery that I bought is not charging). Will stick with you to learn more about this bike. Thanks and happy hollidays!
Haha, yeah, felt a bit like going back to school. 😅 I know! I printed the dice myself and I don't have the stuff to print yellow things, yet. But since it just screws on, I can easily change it to whatever my heart desires in the future. ✌️
Do you decompress when shutting engine off to prevent starter damage? I understand the early 4speed Savages starter/flywheels are prone to damage from kickbacks
I've read about people doing that and I have considered doing it myself, but honestly I forget to most of the time. I've got a five-speed so I think it's not as big of an issue?
If you have a look at 3:52 you can see the actual wiring diagram I have made for my bike. I have removed a few more pieces from my wiring. But I think you should be able to figure out how to remove just the decomp. using that. ✌
Hey man! How can I get in touch with you. I have a tricked out frankensavage that has funky old wiring harness issues I could really use someone to talk to. Thanks brother
what's up dude. hello from iceland. i have a 1987 Bobber Savage LS650 that had for about 2 years and i resived it in parts and i the wirering has been a mess so i have not done anything on the bike sence i had it ( bought it for about 360 bucks it's about 50k ISK ) and now i'm starting working on it again. Your vids are helping me alot how ever the more i can cut out of the wires the better like the Decompression selenoid and so on ( could you send me your wire diagram via email ? )
Hi! That's an awesome bike! I hope you get it running. I've decided to not release my wiring diagram, since I'm not 100% sure it's correct. However, I've been considering doing another, more detailed, video about wiring, since I've gotten quite a few requests about it.

🤣Ladies and Gentleman! Welcome to the Savage akademy!
Cool solution! However, I miss a laughing quince-yellow billard ball instead of the cube....😊

Always wanted to know wtf was that solenoid on my old savage, now I know!

How did you delete the decom wires

CAN U MAKE IT KICK START ?:>)
Never actually seen anyone successfully turning this into a kickstart. The single cylinder might be a bit too big to be comfortable as well?
my pressure is 5.0 which should be the pressure in the engine
5.0 in what unit? PSI? You should have about 140 PSI.

@@HeavyMetalParkingSpot awesome!
low compression on my suzuki savage 650 do wont help me
What have you tried so far? Put a bit of oil in the spark plug hole and see if that improves anything.
