Nice! Lathiel is one of my favorite decks. The absurd amount of +1+1 counters that he can put on creatures is one of my favorite things in magic! Great video, very relaxing :) Ps. A card you can add that I have found to use with great success is "Generous Patron". It's not a n obvious choice at first glance but It really works grate.

Idk why I never thought of this before, but Spike Weaver would be a great addition if it isn't already in the deck. It's got a pay 1 colorless and remove a 1/1 counter to prevent all combat damage this turn. If you're attacked, just pop that and no, you weren't attacked. Also, Spike Tiller uses+1/+1 counters to turn your lands into 2/2 creatures for 2 colorless. Spike Breeder makes them into 1/1 spike creature tokens.

Thanks for the video! I just built a trelasarra deck, and there are a lot of good cards in here that I can use in my deck. Blossoming sands, graypelt refuge, llanowar reborn, sapseep forest, kabira crossroads, sandstone bridge, radiant fountain, are all good lands for this deck.
I built your deck list and have been playing it the last few Fridays (with a few changes, but it's still 90% the same). My friends at the shop have been loving it! It's been so incredibly fun and full of laughs how big the creatures get off lifegain. I put Blossoming Bogbeast in mine. Seems like a nice and fair deck. I always tend to get focused with my decks, so I'm looking into building some new decks that are still good but don't draw attention from the start.
This one is definitely not flashy, but I think it sneaks up on opponents a bit. I've been able to win fairly fast without needing too many specific cards on the field. I'm definitely liking it 😊
@@DaRkPlUm lol that is true, but the more expensive cards in this deck I got lucky to pick up in some solo packs and prerelease kits. I have a wishlist for much better cards some day 🤗
I built a deck sort of like this in simic colors. I forgot what commander i used but the deck revolved around abusing deepglow skate and flickering it with deadeye navigator to make a 1000/1000+ hydroid krasis. The deck was wildly inconsistent but pulling off that combo and hitting with a flying unblockable creature was always fun
@@Pthumerian01 It started as an attempt to build a deck around the Spikes I had from the Tempest block days. I used what I had and used EDHREC to help me fill in the gaps. Since then, I seem to keep pulling cards from random packs that fit the deck well (i.e. Vorniclex, Heliod). The inner sleeves are KMC Perfect Fits, the outer sleeves are Ultimate Guard Katanas, and the deck box is a clear Ultimate Guard Boulder.
@@MorikaASMR is there a limit on how many legendary creatures and planeswalkers I can have in a commander deck? (I'm a new player so I apologize if this is a dumb question 😅)
@@Pthumerian01 The only limit is 100 card decks with only one of each card in the deck that all the mana symbols on your cards have to match the colors on your commanders card. If you want 99 different Planeswalkers and one commander in your deck... You could technically do that so long as it follows the rules above. Basic lands are the only card you can have multiple of... No limit other than the hundred card rule.
You inspired me to build my own Lathiel deck, found a good deck list to start on a budget and I'll keep upgrading it until I'm an unstoppable monster haha

you should add the obelisk to the deck because all of those counters stay in the obelisk so you can bounce back after a board wipe
