- Hello Everyone! This is another ASMR Magic: The Gathering Rakdos EDH / Commander Deck video. In this video I will go through the deck and introduce the commander and read each card in a soft spoken commentary. There will be occasional tapping, hand movements and card sounds throughout.

I love all your videos, but I particularly appreciate that you take the time to explain why each card is helpful in your deck. I played EDH for a few months, years ago, but I find that I can’t hold focus on a lot of MtG card videos because I barely understand any of it. This video did the trick. Your voice level and cadence as you read triggers the tingles in me so good. Nodded right off! I used to play MtG way back as a kid when Revised through ice Ages was out. Interesting to see what new concepts and mechanics they've added over the years to keep players coming back. Incredible that it's coming up on 30 years old.

Man, I didn't know that commander existed! I've only recently gotten back into mtg, and ive always been saddened that there was no commander ive found that i can make into a demon/devil deck that i liked. As my first commander deck was just a monoblack demon/imp deck deck with razaketh way back when in 2016 or 17 or whatever. I might just copy this deck. It's awesome, also great asmr btw. It's very relaxing.

Noice decklist, I took out goremand, and the other instants and sorceries that only target one opponent. Traded em for vexing devil, tiny bones, deadly dispute, bolas citadel. Also deck probably has enough life gain you dont need the bassy collar. Respec the spec though

I really want to get into a tcg, played yugioh years ago and it just doesnt hit the same. Might give MTG a shot just dont know where to even begin
I would definitely look into some of the pre constructed decks. They have instructions on how to play the game in them and most of them are really solid starter decks. If you have a game shop anywhere near you it's a great place to play some games with others. In my experience most magic players are pretty friendly and more than happy to give pointers and tips 🤗🧡

very relaxing video, up until i see no bloodcrypt/untaped dual lands also that single discard spell wont feel good to play especially in a 1v1v1v1 format
your budget is clearly quite high so a few good dual lands go a long way
remove opulent palace for a basic or a good new land also
Yeah I think the lands are probably the weakest part in pretty much every deck I have 😂 I definitely have to upgrade them 😁

I'm guessing this is a fairly new deck as the commander is new. It's not uncommon to run a new deck with the lands you already have just to get a feel for it before you splurge on the more expensive mana bases.

Maybe I mentioned before, but my main commander used to be Rakdos Lord of Riots... if you could get him out early then you could just trample and punch everyone else really quick, but sometimes it took FOREVER to have a turn where I could do damage to a player and get him out haha
I didn't know that! I've never actually run Rakdos as my commander, but I do like the card for that reason. Trample and flying 😁
