That twist with Tails/Nine at the ending of Season 2, that was heartbreaking yet if you think of the time paradox, if Sonic wants to return to his world, it would only end up retconning New Yoke City. Which would mean that Nine and his own existence would not exist.
*Let's be honest here, Shadow was benched because if he was in Sonic shoes, he would of solve this crisis half-way through the first season lol.* But we wouldn't have much of a show 😅
I personally liked the second season, but there are a couple of short comings. Shadow was given little time, although he could have fought in other universes. The universes look cool, but I would like to see other locations, not just Green Hills. The same goes for robots. The relationships between some characters are poorly developed, even though they are well described in the series. Overall, I give series 7 points. He's not perfect, but the same time he's not the worst. Also, I'm waiting for the third season to come out. Jubging by the trailer, Sonic has big problems: if he barely coped with Chaos Sonic, then I can imagine what will happen when he collides with the other Chaos robots.
Nice review. I enjoyed Season 2 of Prime as well, even if there was a disappointment or two in it. My main problem is that we didn't get more Shatterspaces, but with an expectation that high, I can see why we only got the few we saw in Season 1. I, too, didn't like Dredd's sudden character change, Chaos Sonic talks way too much (Sonic's voice actor did a good job sounding like what a bad Sonic would be, but I can see why Metal Sonic doesn't talk in the games aside from Heroes). Shadow's voice did improve, and that twist ending really hit me. I look forward to seeing how Season 3 goes, because long movie or not, the first look got me interested more than ever.
Honestly other than the current MCU or The Flash movie this might be the worst Multiverse story ever because all of the universes are incredibly basic but I still love this show.
Imagine if one of eggman's robots stabbed Sonic I would pay good money to see that because I want to see one of eggman's robots actually work I kind of want eggman kind of have a victory for once but I don't want him to kill Sonic.
Second Act kinda tired me, with Fights, Little Talk, Fights, Little Exchange, Fights, Jokes, Fights, Fights, Fights.... Well, you get it. I mean, I was at Episode 12, and was like "More Chases, with the same enemies?" Give Me A Break! Nine´s betrayal was very expected to come, since the first episode. So It wasnt a surprise for me. I do hope Third Act, give us a more satysfying direction, because this one, I couldnt stand it.
I really like Sonic prime in terms of what I'm seeing so far but my biggest problem with it is the fact that they don't really take advantage of the multiverse considering that Sonic is a franchise has a lot of content even in and outside of the games they could have taken advantage of the multiverse concept for Sonic they could have adapted stuff and taken stuff from Archie sonic boom Sonic X the movies the British fleetway comic Sonic OVA the Sonic mangas hell even the Lego sonic would have been cool since wildbrain currently animates the entirety of the new seasons of Ninjago and dragons rising And just literally a crap ton of Sonic related material wildbrain and Sega could have taken a lot of multiverse aspects from and adapted it for the show but they just didn't do that and it's a little disappointing NGL I really do think that Sonic and the multiverse would really go hand-in-hand but I really would think that Sega and wild brain should take more of a bigger risk to really make the show more worthwhile in even more memorable than Sonic x and boom

I saw a few people bring up a parallel (most likely a fan made one but still a parallel) between the moment in Over the Void where (btw spoilers) Shadow almost falls into the void and the ending of SA2. Sort of a happier version to the former. Twitter did confirm Sonic tried to grab Shadow before he fell to Earth. Idk just smth to think about.
The weaker part of Season 2 was that it didn't deliver in the surprise factor that Season 1 had. It promised Shadow yet it seems that Season 2 we expected Shadow to come into the story yet he was left in the void or even in the Ghost World.
So have you seen the final update for Frontiers, because it looks epic and way better than the last Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope DLC pack. I also heard that Hilda's third and final season will come in December, and I look forward to the Scott Pilgrim Netflix anime, even have the game to play. One more thing I may see is the Five Nights at Freddy's movie, since it looks like it'll be on par with all the other good video game film adaptations.
Hey man! I played a little bit of the latest Frontiers update. It's a little janky (just like the base game), but it is cool to play Amy, Knux, and Tails in a 3D setting again. From what I've played, it's a fun diversion. I'm more excited what the modders are going to do with this new update. As for the Netflix news, the Scott Pilgrim anime looks super promising. The live action movie was dope, and I'm glad the comic strip is still getting some love. As for Hilda, I almost forgot a third season was happening. Netflix didn't release any trailers for season 3 yet (great marketing as always, guys). However, I am nonetheless looking forward to the Blue Adventurer's conclusion. Lastly, the FNAF movie looks promising. I was never a fan of the games, but the use of practical effects makes me intrigued. Will have to check it out for Halloween.
