- Hello friends. In this video I show you how I installed and how how it works this new Android 10, 9 inch, dedicated for Peugeot 308 and 408 2007-2014.
This is the M400 model from Mekede, it has: 4G LTE data modem, Octa-core Intel SC9853 processor, 4Gb Ram and 64Gb memory for applications and operating system, bluetooth, GPS, compatible with steering wheel controls and computer screen. This system also works on other Peugeot & Citroen cars, only the frame is different.

Another great video! Have you compared the sound quality with branded headunit such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, etc?
I can say that the sound is the same as on the original radio unit, but here you have an advantage because you can adjust how you want the sound with the equalizer. I have not tested with brand radio units.

Hi Adrian, really clear tutorial! I bought a different Android unit but I can't figure out how to make it goes of and on with the ignition of the car. The unit is alway on basically and I'm thinking to change it to this android unit that you show in the video. Is this unit functioning with ignition of the car or you had to play with the fuse box to make it work with ignition?

1, is the CAMBUS adapter for steering wheel controls included in the car radio package or does it have to be purchased separately?
2, Is the wiring harness of the car radio CABLE included?

Hello.
1. In the package with android device you receive a basic Canbus Decoder + all the necessary cables.
If you want to display data about the air conditioning system on the Android screen, you will need an XP canbus (Simple Soft), but keep in mind that it has some bugs: for example, it resets the service interval for the oil change.

Hello. Both work just as well if you buy the best model: octa core and 2 or 4 Gb ram memory. It's your choice.

Great tutorial! One question: you bought an especial or different can-bus that the one comes with the unit or the canbus that comes with the unit works with the car display like you show in the video? And, you try to use if work the car-play (android auto or apple car)? Thanks!
Hi! I didn't buy that special Canbus, all the functions you see work with the canbus decoder that you receive in the box with the Android unit. I still haven't tried to see how it works with the phone on the Android Auto function.

Factory Config > Pin in video Adrian> caretype > select Rcz peugeot/citroen and 408. The menu Car info change as the video to access obd car display. Works in 308 2007 and m400 with canbus delivered. Thank you Adrian for the tuto.

You have to enter Factory Settings and there you will probably have the option to deactivate, but I don't know if it's the same as my M400 / M200. Ask the seller how to do this.

The steering wheel controls work, you can also control the screen on the dashboard (monochrome). As for the parking sensors, I couldn't test them because my car doesn't have one, but theoretically this Android Multimedia unit is compatible with the factory parking sensors.

The original button panel probably didn't have those buttons either, so they don't have any function on your car.

Go in Bluetooth app on the car player and select sound icon ( after repertory and phone)

I have a Peugeot 308cc from 2012 with sat-nav display. I wont use this display anymore but do you know if it is compatible with tje car system? Is S9 compatible or do i need to use the T7 link as i think my model is a T7?
Hello. Online GPS navigation applications (Maps, Waze, etc) only work with an Internet connection via SIM data or WiFI connection to an Internet Hotspot (you can generate from your phone). But there are also GPS navigation applications that work offline, as you said Here We Go, but even with these you have to download the map first using an internet connection.

Salut, am comandat si eu acum cateva saptamani o navigatie de pe ali express, de altfel una la care i-ai si facut review, pentru un 407 si voiam sa te intreb in cat timp ti-au venit tie coletele, pentru ca nu am dat niciodata o suma atat de mare pe ali express si nu as vrea sa am surprize neplacute de genul nelivrarea comenzii de niciun fel, sau sa aibe defecte si asa mai departe. Imi place ce faci, apropo, si ma bucur ca am gasit pe cineva care pune sisteme android si pe masini frantuzesti nu numai pe gama WAG. Astept raspunsul tau.
Salutare! Nu cred ca este cazul sa te ingrijorezi, navigatia va ajunge la tine dar cu oarece intarzieri datorita situatiei cu acest nenorocit de virus... Oricum tu ai protectie din partea Aliexpress si in cazul in care coletul nu ajunge la tine pana la expirarea termenului vei primi banii integral inapoi. Multumesc pentru aprecieri :)

Se poate instala si pe acest tip de navi dar ecranul rabatabil va ramane inchis, va deveni nefunctional. Totusi daca as avea o astfel de masina la indemana as icerca diverse variante sa vad daca reusesc sa-l pastrez functional.

Salutare! Nu stiu sa-ti raspund esxact la intrebarea ta dar am auzit ca exista niste adaptoare pentru a functiona cel putin comenzile de la volan, ar trebui sa cauti pe google poate gasesti ceva. Cat despre controlul ecranului cred ca trebuie facuta o setare cu ajutorul Diagbox-ului astfel in cat sa poti regla ecranul dintr-o combinatie de taste de pe maneta de comenzi audio de la volan.

Felicitări și mulțumim foarte mult pentru acest videotutorial foarte complet! ❤ Caut cea mai potrivită navigatie Android pentru un Peugeot RCZ, și idealmente echipat cu un model de camera marșarier încorporat în plăcuță de înmatriculare (voi incerca sa gasesc un model cu un receptor-recevier wireless). Ati putea să-mi sfătuiți un model anume, vă rog? Board-ul fiind negru, ar trebui partea superioară să fie de asemenea neagră lucios și cu butoanele din modelul RCZ binețeles (THP 200, modelul fără scaune din piele si optiunea aferenta). Camera de mers inapoi nu recomand sa cumperi modelul care este incorporata pe rama numarului, se vede foarte urat. Recomand o camera care o poti pune intre lampile de iluminare a numarului de inmatriculare (modelul AHD 720P): s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Dl40JkH

I’ve bought the Android from your Link in AliExpress. I’ve installed and all work perfect except the “car screen from original” I can o lo see the time in the top screen and nothing changes when I do the same than in this video in minute 13:29.

@@AdrianDragan Hey Adrian, I have similiar problem, i bought Mekede m400 2/64 and there was no app for emulating buttons on the original radio. Did you had it from the beggining or you installed it later?
@@achimPL Hi. Enter the settings / Factory Settings / Canbus and try all the Peogeot models there.
@@AdrianDragan On another day, I found this soft keyboard at the very end of "car settings" list. I am not sure if it was there from the beginning or I changed peugeot car model in settings before that.
Hi Adrian, thanks to you excellent video. I by and install mekede m600 version widhout any probelms. But sound instructions from maps is at low level compared to radio. If a listen radio at normal level instructions is hart to listen. Do you know how to equal sound levels on radio and maps ?
Hello. Try changing the sound mixing values: Settings / General / Sound mixing scale.

Hello. Check if you have the same power plug as the one on Android unit. You should know that if you install Android radio, the color screen on the dashboard will no longer work.

Hi Sebastian! I did exactly the same thing: I used the GPS antenna and the microphone from the old 7 inch unit, everything works perfectly. So they are compatible.

Hello, thanks for nice video. What about sound quality of this unite? Can you compare original radio and this android unit? My friend bought android unit to Honda Accord, and sound is very poore.
In this model the sound quality is as good as the original radio. It has a digital sound processor (DSP) and allows you to make many sound settings. But for a superior sound compared to the original one, I recommend an amplification station + replacement of speakers in the doors + subwoofer.
What would say about the sound quality compared with the original sound? And the sound level, goes high as the original one? Thank you very much, nice video!
Hello! The sound is very good and thanks to the DSP (digital sound processor) system you have multiple possibilities to adjust the sound. The sound is louder than on the original radio. Here I am talking about the M400 model.

Hello! I was very pleased with the 7-inch navigation from Idoing, but now I consider this one from Mekede to be an great upgrade and I really like how it works and how it looks. I don't mind the frame which is higher than the dashboard, when you are behind the wheel it is not noticeable. All my friends said that the new Android navigation is cool :)

Hi, I used this video to install an android screen a couple of years ago and it worked great. I installed a new one recently with better specs, the one in the link above. It still works very well but it has changed the car's units to kph rather than mph. When this happened with the first android screen, I reconnected the original radio, changed it back to mph, and then reconnected the android screen. This did not work with the new screen, it keeps changing to kph. Changing the units settings on the android screen didn't work either. I have the Peugeot 308 with colour flip screen which doesn't work with the android screen installed. Any ideas how I can solve this?

The installation was easy and nearly all functions are running but unfortunatelly the engine warning control appeared with this new unit. I went to a Peugeot dealer. They put the car on the computer and found out that the CanBus is causing the trouble. Unfortunatelly they couldn´t help me but they erased the engine message. But after a few minutes the sign came back...they erased the engine message again after I re-installed my former, original radio and everything is fine. Do you have any idea what I can do?

@@AdrianDragan I found out what the problem is: on my old radio there´s a SOS button. This is causing a conflict as the car tries to find it but it´s not there. Unfortunatelly this one is missing in the new radio. I saw that you don´t have that either. Any idea if I can find units with this button?

Sometimes the radio will connect wireless with my wife’s iPhone for Apple car play and sometimes he won’t connect need to restart the car 2 times.

Salutare. Se potriveste pe RCZ dar daca ai sistem audio JBL din fabrica nu va merge. De asemenea daca ai sistemul multimedia original cu ecran color (cu navigatie) ecranul color original al masinii nu va mai sfunctiona daca instalezi unitatea Android, desi aceasta va functiona bine.

I had recently installed multimedia in Peugeot 308. It's android 10 based.
Now I have couple of problems without solutions for them.
First, my radio is very basic, without RDS, AF and TA options.
The second problem is that after multimedia updated, I don't have any more car infos, temperature, average fuel consumptions and etc. I try to find solution on internet and realize that problem is with canbus protocol. Obviosly, I didn't set the proper one.
Do you have some advise for me with those 2 problems?

If the top flip screen is controlled via factory radio, I think it should be somehow possible to get it control via custom radio (tablet). Hello. The foldable screen has a dedicated plug that goes into the original radio. Unfortunately, there is no Android model compatible with the original folding screen.
