HI Adrian. Great vid thank you for your great work! I could not work out which plugs I need to connect to the Peugeot outlet (the large square plug that was disconnected from the old multumedia unit). I am kind of stuck now and this is the last bit of info I need! Thank you!
Hello. It's true, I didn't show the exact moment when I connected the large plug from Android to the original large plug. This is the cable with the large plug that connects to the Android unit (see minute 1:06 ).

I recently had installed a similar device from Mekede m6pro on my 508 2013 with RNEG2. Unfortunately after installation, I lost the function of the rear windows. All other settings are working I've contacted the manufacturer but useless so far. The can bus decoder is shown as unknown in the device status ordered a new set of cables and cambus and the same result am quite disappointed so far.
Hello. I don't really understand why it doesn't work anymore, the rear windows don't go up and down anymore?
No also went to my mechanic to check it, and on the tester is showing that has no rear window function anymore and he told me that Peugeot has some functions that are passing through the original head unit. Also as is not recognising the canbus can be the problem too. I might just end getting same head unit as you installed
Is it possible to insert back the original plastic, shiny, aluminium like edge from the original dashboard vents to the newly shipped vents? I can see the new ones comes without the aluminium like edge.

Hi. That little speaker is for playing the warning sounds of the parking sensors.
Great guide how to do it by yourself. What do you have to say about this unit quality? Did you had some problems in the past months? Also, can you turn it on or off on car console button? Also, if i understood, you kept original usb connectors and got extra 2 in glove box?
Hello. The Android unit works very well even after these months of use. The unit starts only if the ignition is on, by pressing the rotary button on the steering wheel you mute the audio system. Yes, it is an adapter cable to use the USB plug on the old multimedia system, see at 1:23 minute .

hi, would you recommend the S5 more than the S4 even if I don’t care about the 4G sim slot? (S5 has slightly better processor and 64G instead of 32G, etc)

Multumesc pentru raspuns. Intre timp mi-am comandat si eu un model S6 din link-ul tau, la un pret la care nu se apropie nimic din ce gasesti in Romania cu specificatii asemanatoare (946 lei). Ramane sa gasesc cablurile. Au livrare foarte tarzie, pe la sfarsitul lui mai. Trebuie sa mai caut. In orice caz, dupa ce vine, in cazul in care ma impotmolesc, o sa-mi permit sa te mai deranjez cu intrebari. Multumesc!

My 508sw 2013 has rear parking sensors. Will they work automatically when I change the gear to "R"? Also if I install a rear camera will it work when I change gear to "R"? Thank you!
Hello. The answer is yes, it will display the parking sensors (see at minute 30:26 ) when you put it into reverse and if you install a reversing camera it will display the image on the screen.

Did you have a chance to test if the CarPlay works via USB? On the Aliexpress page(in the description) it says that the CarPlay is wireless only, but in 29:46 of your tutorial we can see it says “USB or Bluetooth” while showing CarPlay on the display.

Salutare! Senzorii din fata cu siguranta ii recunoaște, cât despre senzorii de unghi mort cred ca ai ceva setari. La capitolul HUD, tableta nu va transmite date despre navigatie către acesta sau cel puțin eu nu am testat suficient.

@@AdrianDragan After doing some research, my understanding is now that on the 508 I 2014 with the standard RT6 headunit, the Peugeot telematic module (to which the original microphone is also connected) is responsible for interfacing Bluetooth with the mobile phone, routing only output audio to the RT6. So the way to do this with an Android headunit would be to simply connect the telematic output to an input un the Android unit ?

Hello. The version tested in the video is the 4Gb version, the most powerful one is 8Gb, but 4Gb it also works well.
This 4Gb version (S5) has WiFi and 4G connection for mobile internet with data card.
It is very simple to connect it to the phone, once the connection is made it will be remembered and the next time you enter the car it will automatically connect to the last connected phone.

Hello. I have not tested the Android tablet in the 508 Hybrid, but I have seen Hybrid 508 owners who have installed an Android unit and they say it works well. Hello Adrian thanks for the video. I ve installed the android radio on my 2011 Peugeot 508 with RT6. The radio is working fine to the exception of the sound. No sound at all. And I cannot receive FM radio (I have used the 2 connectors amplifier from your link) nor the external mic. I think it comes from a bad connection as in the video you refer to a cable that is not clear to me. Could you help me? Thanks. Alexandre

@@AdrianDragan In fact, I have no sound at all (bluetooth, sample sound / video) and I have no FM reception. I've used the 2 wire amplifier linked in your original message. With the original RT6 set I had no issue with FM reception. In your video, at 15:05, you talk about connecting wire for the antenna. But this part is not clear for me. Maybe I've missed something here. Thanks again for your help higly appreciated

That red wire is from the FM radio amplifier and connects to the blue ANT wire to supply 12 volts to the FM radio amplifier.

@@AdrianDraganMașina este din 2004 și am avut pe ea un radio cd Sony dar nu mai știu modelul dar l-am schimbat pentru că s-a defectat și am pus tot un Sony model DSX-A410BT am mai văzut că nu am mufa originala de la mașină. Sunt două mufe probabil a schimbat mufele nu știu. Aș trimite o imagine cu mufele dar nu pot aici

Привет. Какой Android-устройство вы установили на свой автомобиль? Это точно так же, как в моем видео? Если он такой же, как у меня, выставьте настройки канбус-декодера, как на изображении в моей ссылке, и посмотрите, будет ли работать система JBL.
