Hi, I've just followed this video and completed my installation successfully. It is an excellent guide, thank you. Can you tell me how to adjust the car date/time now that the original stereo has been removed?
@@jamessanderson5068 I didn't..I was advised I'd need to buy the original stereo unit and plug it in to set the time/date. After doing this, I could then replace the original unit with my new headunit. But this must all be done without disconnecting the main battery. Needless to say I didn't both. I'm currently driving around with a flashing time/ date on the display.
@@creationtools9541 I read you can get a Connect2 device that makes the steering column controls work for the trip computer. So you can have aftermarket radio and still be able to set date/time. See th-cam.com/video/Ja6cLDWXLto/w-d-xo.html

Hi im planning to buy 207 and this type of radio, im just wondering, if the original peugeot radio is used to control the car computer ( fuel consumption, settings).. how do you now control the tiny display? Does it still work with this ? Thx!

Its not worht installing this crappy radio and loose the steering funtions, and the original screen adjustments, there are screens specific for the model that keep all the functions...

Peugeot 308 and costed me £70 I wish I saw this before doesn't seem that difficult. Good stuff!!

Hi yes without the original radio you can’t change the date time settings which is very annoying.
