Awesome vid! I’m planning on getting out of the army in 2 years and moving my family to a large property where I will do something just like this. All the best!

Good job ! Team work gets the job done faster I'm sure your kids enjoy helping :) Great idea for the walls, I had 4 kids that liked to play hard & the drywall took a beating" Dad was always fixing ! Nice when the whole family can be involved it's coming along great :)

Haha the kids are good for about an hour then they get over it, they probably make it way slower but it's something different for them. Yep I could imagine with 4 kids around the drywall wouldn't stand a chance, I must of spent a week patching and painting my house before I rented it out.

This is likely a dumb Q so sorry in advance but why did u use log stumps? did you treat them? was it just because they were free?
Are you not concerned about possible Borer or termites?

log stumps? as in the verandah posts? They're sitting up on the steel floor frame.

Villaboard Cutter what is that called looks the go indeed.

yeh the fibro shears cut it so quickly and easily but they do blow the edge out a little bit so they're only good for area's that get plastered or covered with something.

Mine are Makita and have done heaps of cutting and still work like new, I've never used any others so I can't really comment on which ones are good or not sorry.
