Nice review! I have a 14ft raft with a fairly heavy DRE San Juan frame with metal casting decks. Do you think I can get away with the 25lb? I’ve been running a 30lb Hyde drift anchor.
I think you probably can. I've always run a 35#, even now with my new drift boat, but I like being able to stop in whatever current I want. If you've been happy with the 30# Hyde, you should be just find with the 25# as these anchors definitely grip better than any other anchor. Just remember, you may have to let out a few more feet of road to all the discs to bite. Happy drifting!
That was a tilting stealthcraft flat bed deck trailer with an anchor nest. It was pretty sweet. I just sold it and the raft to a buddy, but I kept the anchor ;)

I didn’t say you should but that you can ;). Where there is a will there’s a way. LOL!
You know you could just buy another lock nut at the hardware store if you were really that concerned about it loosening
