I love the fact that non-RiVetra fans get butt hurt because the voice actors don't support what they like and try to shove all this information down others throats that it's not canon in any way possible, but EreRi is very out of character and misinterpreted. At least Ymir x Christa was confirmed canon and Levi x Petra was implied. That doesn't mean it IS canon. I'm pretty sure if it was EreRi that was mentioned then everyone would jump out of their seats. Petra had confirmed feelings for Levi, but it's uncertain if Levi did for Petra, at most, he saw her as a close comrade or little sister like Isabelle. Don't start a fight you can't win just because a character is dead. People ship Jean X Marco, and Ymir x Christa and a member of those pairings are dead, so what is the difference? Does it really matter? If Petra is such an unimportant character, why does she get so much official art with Levi?

Also, I'm just gonna say it. The majority of people that fit this group are people that support Eren x Levi. If you like that ship, there's nothing wrong with that, go ahead and support it. But if someone wants to ship Eren or Levi (It's usually Levi in this case) with someone else, don't get mad! Even if it sounds stupid. Some people like Eren x Levi. Some people like Levi x Petra. Some people like Eren x Mikasa. All of these are so different, and sharing our thoughts about them is what's fun. Why are you even supporting pedophilia in the first place? Ymir is Christa’s age in human form, she’s only 75 because she was a Titan for that long. She was also unconscious and asleep, that doesn’t mean she’s an old woman when she barely lived her life. And as for Levi and Eren, they’ve been conscious this whole time and shipping them is flat out making Levi look like a pedophile.

I am a major Petra hater, and am absolutely disgusted with how people think Petra is so kind when in fact all those Petra supporters are so ignorant to the fact that she forced Eren to trust the squad--yes, he needs to learn how to rely on others and not only on himself--however, it is not fair that Petra does not trust him back.
If you want to develop a good and healthy relationship, both people must have trust with one another, it can't be one sided. In my point of view she is being self-centered right there.
Also, Petra hopes that Oluo bleeds out. How fucking dare you wish that on your comrade?! You don't say that to another party team member! You are in the middle of a fucking war and you flat out say that you hope for death for the guy for being a jerk shows me that you are immature and literally unfit to be a soldier!
However, Ginger-crotches' wish did come true, Oluo did bleed out when Annie kicked him, and so did Petra--karma! So she kind of foreshadowed her own death and that of her comrade.
Alright, let's be honest, shippings are fun and yet with this series there are two wars currently going on: Anti-Rivetra supporters and Rivetra supporters. I won't lie it feels like if we ever cross paths that there will be a bloody fist fight, even though a majority of you are basically friends and/or relatives.
The supporters suggest that both Levi and Petra were in a romantic relationship due to Mr. Ral saying something about 'marriage' and Levi sent her off to deliver a oral message.
Then you have those who are against the ship, who say that Mr. Ral is truly overreacting and that there is no clear sign of anything romantic going on. However with the oral message you would highly suggest that if there is something going on between the two that Levi would want to keep her safe, he would probably talk her out of joining the Survey Corps. instead of welcoming her to death's door.
However with the oral message you would often wonder to yourself that Levi would have gone with her; he clearly knew that there high risk of danger out in the open field and yet he allowed her to journey out on her own. If you both were lovers you would most likely go off together to deliver a rather important message in hopes that one another is safe.
Also one more thing:
DO PEOPLE EVEN REALIZE THAT IT IS TRULY UP TO ISAYAMA TO CONFIRM THESE SHIPPINGS AND NOT THE AUDIENCE TO CONFIRM IT. IT IS HIS MANGA, HE CREATED IT. HE COULD CONFIRM THEORIES AND DENY THEORIES. HELL, HE CONFIRMED THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YMIR x KRISTA AND WHEN A FAN BROUGHT UP LEVI'S RELATIONSHIP WITH PETRA HE RESPONDS WITH THE FACT THAT HE SHOWED IT BETWEEN PANELS. ALL I SAW WAS A CAPTAIN GIVING COMMANDS AND THAT IS ALL I SAW.
OFTEN TIMES A MANGA-KA WILL ACCEPT HIS FANS REQUEST AND CONFIRM CERTAIN THEORIES.
Now it is getting to the point that I am relying on the manga-ka to confirm certain theories and not fans, including myself to confirm these because who else actually knows what is truly going on between certain characters other then it's creator.

U may say it was only onesided, but the scenes in episodes 21 and 22 show otherwise, that even their very voice actors were able to notice and thats what gets u mad. And the author himself, the creator of AoT was the one who put those scenes for a reason, and I'm pretty sure he knows more than u or any other delusional fangirl could believe. And yes she's dead, but this pairing will always be more canon than any other shipping with Levi cuz at least it was hinted. With time , in the Manga Levi learns to care about Eren as a human being , he was put only to watch over him but he- by his own notion he goes out of his ways and tries to make a technique that will keep him alive even if he goes berserk (if he goes out of control means he is useless for humanity but he still believes in him) also there are some character "inteviews" by the author in which Levi tells Eren not to listen to what people say about him and it means a lot for a person titan like Eren . after the anime ends Levi is actually getting closer to Eren as high as concern goes and even tells him about his past which he never did with anyone (talks about common aspiration of freedom) and Levi comes to trust him strongly enough that in chapter 66 he let him do "what he wants" when they are about to die and when Eren doubts his "worthlessness" Levi doesn't just tell him to man up like his friends did he crouches to his eye level and tells him that he is the reason they are safe . Don't get me wrong, I don't ship yaoi much tho i do like to analyze deeply into them and why people ship them ... and while Eren was abducted he was concerned for Levi (secondly, for Armin) and afterwards on chapter 68, he still follows him like a shadow although he is not under any military danger or judge warrant anymore he just feels comfortable there I guess ...so If people want to ship them they can , it has alot of base Levi is obviously one of the most influential people on Eren. I guess you need to reevaluate your knowledge and butthurtness about the anime because you are most likely just ignore those relationships for your dead ship. ships are mostly aren't about love it's about dynamics and development and where it can go in the future , remind yourself that it's in a different civilization. On a side note ,it's an action series don't get too worked up over ships that most likely would never happen . Have a good day!

Everything you said of how Levi values Eren as a human being doesn't change the fact that he values him as a comrade. That's pretty much how values all of his other comrades. And the only thing I disagree with Atreyu is that Levi might die. I don't think so, because Levi means a lot the development in the show. But other than that, I do agree with him. The guide book talked about their lover quarrel..
