- This is a breakdown of flight suits and which ones I believe are best. Some of the flight suits we break down are made by Massif, Drifire, and CRYE Precision. I've worn most of these and I can sat there are trade-offs from every one.

Sizing is being corrected for Massif. I’m our gear PO and numerous crewmen including myself had to request a smaller size.
I’m normally a medium type guy. I was shocked when I had to order Small/Short for their 2 piece flight suit pants! But they fit great. I’m about 5’8” and around 168.
Massif will be going to numbered sizes for inseam and waist, at least for the Hellman pants.
Aesthetically they are cool but they are a little bit thicker. Their combat shirts rip too easily it seems. And those aren’t aesthetically pleasing as the DriFire G3 Crye styles. The 1/4 zip ones aren’t too bad but still they could make them cooler.
The Crye stuff is WAY more expensive and good luck getting your command to buy those for you. Best to just sign up for the active duty discount, but still those are $$$$!!
Been wearing the Massif 2 piece for a month now, haven’t flown in it but for summer time, an old 1 piece or the Drifire is most comfy out here in SoCal.

I live in those jumpsuits on the 01 level waiting to board a ship or a rescue
The massif two piece feels totally different than the traditional flight suit. I was issued one but I’m not a fan, tight on the boys, but I’ll keep it because not everyone has one lol

Are there requirements on what camo or color you have to wear?

hi! Do AIRR rescue swimmers skydive?
It’s not an aspect of the job. No reason to send you to jump school.

@@rrm8923No, although airborne school is open to all branches, there’s literally zero reason to send a helicopter rescue swimmer to learn how to parachute from an aircraft.
If you’re trying to do something like that, become an Air Force PJ.
