Apparently this is not Axehead. NECA are reworking this mold a bit with a new backshell and retooled headsculpt to make a Kaiju they are officially branding as Axehead. Quite frankly I'm looking forward to the Axehead. A design of their own before the release of more official Kaiju has to be good.

Well the only ones I ever had were 3 of the halo figures a few years ago and 2 of them broke. I wasn't sure if its a common problem or not. I do have an alien figure that seems perfectly durable so maybe you're right.

Axehead is a kaiju based on Trespasser's concept art and did not appear in the movie and is not officially canon. The kaiju that attacked Sydney is Mutavore, a weaker Cat IV

Well, they are some of the best figures out there in the (almost) 1/12 scale. They tend to be a little expensive, through. They are actually releasing an Indiana Jones figure later in march, and the preorder just went up for a Thor figure. They are quite articulated, too!
