When onichichi appeared with the pacific rim theme made me laugh so hard it made me depressed

the fact that you know who that is makes me sad
well the Kaiju figures being remolds of each other is due to in the movie that they are cloned bio weapons which is explains why various species looked similar to one another down to their internal organs (& an excuse to reduce CGI budget).
Yeah, Scunner, Trespasser, and Knifehead all share CGI models (though all three have been modified to some degree). It's pretty hard to notice, since Knifehead is the only one who gets a prolonged fight scene, and all three are obscured for a good chunk of their appearances (Trespasser's covered by fog, Knifehead is waist-deep in ocean, and Scunner is at the bottom of a dark trench).
It also makes some degree of sense because the Precursors knew Gipsy Danger would be one of the Jaegers to assault the Breach, and Knifehead managed to nearly defeat Gipsy when they fought. So to deal with Gipsy now, they just made a bigger, stronger, slightly revised version of Knifehead and set it loose. There's a lot of genius from the Precursors that you don't get until you think about it a bit harder.
@@thaddeusb8715 exactly, they also knew what jaegers were going to fight otachi and leatherback (Crimson, Striker and cherno) so they designed them specifically to take them on, Gipsy was able to kick their butt because they weren't expecting Gipsy in the fight, and they weren't fit to fight gipsy

I wanted to send you the figure, but if I send something from Russia, you will wait 10000000000 years...
Couple of things to note: the jaw looseness seems to be a consistent issue (I have this figure and mine's jaw is loose too), and Scunner used the same body model in the movie due to budget constraints (I think) and has the same mould roughly as a result. I think this was also the case with Axehead too, so from me at least there's no hard feelings if you don't review them.
However, if you can get hold of it you should totally check out the 8 inch scale Cherno Alpha. It's one of the best figures in the line IMO and is probably one of the most well articulated. The Ultimate Striker Eureka is worth a look too as I'd say it's my third favourite in the line.
If your disappointed with this one then you have not seen anything......wave 1 knife head.....

I do love that they pretty much put Guiron from _Gamera VS Guiron_ in the film.
I've noticed that Neca figures have some really great sculpting and painting, but the joints are always very stiff. I have the Tyreal and Gypsy danger and their joints can barely move without a hair dryer
