Back in the mid 1990s a friend and I ponied up for a few sets of Franks videos and they utterly transformed the way we trained. We're still using the same ideas and still looking for better. Just haven't found anything better.
InformationIsTheEdge Try Paul Vunak’s R.A.T. Methods. Paul and Frank are both under Inosanto - RAT is Rapid Assault Tatics. It was made for Navy Seals combat training after Frank made this video I believe - possibly in the early 2000s (since this tape is the 90s).
@@Mr-Keyes I just watched a 10 minute presentation by Mr. Cestari. 3 things come immediately to mind. First my condolences for the passing of your mentor, Carl Cestari. Second, I immediately like him for selecting a fellow to demonstrate on that is bigger than himself! Third, his mechanics look awesome and I wished he talked more about it in his presentation. I'll be looking in on more of his stuff for sure! Thanks again for the suggestion.
No offence to his skills, but it's really surprising to see a Seal Team member holding a weapon with his finger on the trigger. Goes against the most basic gun safety rules you're taught. Notice how his finger goes from trigger to straight and then back. That's not good.
this is great basic muay thai but not good for self defense or the armed forces. there is not stepping a way, after the strikes and the combos are not created to kill the enemy or knock them out in two moves or less. these skills are aimed toward one on one ring fighting not battle field.
Actually, it is very good. This is part 2, and in part 1 footwork, physics and body mechanics were explained, so that's implied already. In part 3, takedowns are added as well as some more combos.
@@petarniciforovic6543 So you're basically claiming a) proven ring techniques do not cause knock-outs and b) a good fighter will allow you to knock them out 'in two moves or less'. In what universe do you live?
@00:00 Let's all take a moment of silence for the viewers who had their earphones in and volume at max.....
Enrique Fuentes thanks for that 😂
Love Franks material. Had his TRS tapes back in the 90's. One of the best instructionals of its day. Still use the muay Thai combos from it.

Carl Cestari material is 10 times better.
@@Mr-Keyes Thanks for the info! I'll look into that.
