This is great for baseball. I’d watch a entire game just through umpire cam. I think it can also be used as a helpful tool to improve umpires and show regular people how hard it is to be a major league umpire

I'm a Rangers fan and those were both 100% strikes. Javier's pitch literally had the broadcast angle showing strike so there's zero argument for that one, and the one thrown by Hunter Brown was clearly a strike. You're wrong but we rolled them and won a ring and now they're in last place who cares.
All this shows me is that far too many umps don't line up their head with the center of the plate, leading to outside balls looking like strikes. Although that curve on Taveras was so obviously a ball
@@keylandykes7873I would say, there's no way to control the angle of the camera; it isn't full HD; it looks as a fish eye lens and doesn't give you a clear view of what's happening since you can follow nothing that gets over 50 feet from the home-plate... It is kinda immersive, I'll give them that... I would prefer a different angle caught with a Drone or something if that's what they are aiming towards
Don't care about seeing the ump cam ever. Whit I would like to see is MLB take the top 7 ranked umps to the WS. Not just go with "well you were ranked 87 out of 92" so you can go. And to be fair you get the plate for Game 1 and Game 7 (If needed). Have not been impressed with the quality at the plate all Post Season.
