Because back in 2008 when this game was released and before the new PATH trains with automated announcements started appearing on the system, 90% of all PATH conductors were always stoned. The makers of this game wanted to keep in pace with the times.
There's a bit of an inaccuracy here. Trains on the Newark-WTC line ordinarily use the outermost track at Journal Square. The track the train uses in this video is usually reserved for trains on the Journal Square-33rd Street line (Journal Square-33rd Street via Hoboken overnight and on weekends).
Hi, I have a question about this game. Are these the max settings for view distance? The game scenery looks pretty cool for a 2009 game but the rather limited drawing distance kills the immersion. Can it be improved or this is as good as it can be?
Great question, the time i uploaded that video was during the first couple of months of the channel so I had a pc that didn’t have good specs. I likely used average settings graphics wise for the WOS 1 simulator, it’s pretty good for only $9.99 and I believe it’s still available on steam. It would’ve been improved if the developers updated the graphics engine of the game itself but unfortunately it’s now 2019 and still nothing. I do recommend getting it.
@@MTAProdigy Interesting. I just got it along with WOS 2, but it tends to crash. I attempted four shifts, and it crashed in two of them; one at the very beginning, the other nearing the end. Is there any way to make it a bit more stable? Or you need to rely on sheer luck to finish a shift?
Hey, man. I feel you will never respond and that's alright if you dont see this comment but i just want to ask, I downloaded this game before and I meet all the requirements, I got great FPS (Above 60) and the game was smooth. But it just kept crashing and crashing and I don't know why. If you have an answer that will be great but otherwise, if you dont see this comment dont worry about it.
Yeah Technically yeah, my laptop is up to date. It’s not up to date for Windows 11 though. I still have Windows 10. Could that affect anything about the game?
Jeremy Signorelli technically the PATH is overseen by the FRA(Federal Railroad Administration) thus making it railroad. Because the PATH operates so close and on Amtrak property(Newark Drawbridge) they must operate like a railroad. Their rolling stock is built to FRA standards and their engineers are also FRA approved much like Amtrak, NJ Transit, CSX and LIRR. PATH could be considered a subway since much of its infrastructure and operation is similar to rapid transit rather than commuter rail.
The conductor is drunk
Why does the announcement sound like somebody on all drugs

I was wondering how much they paid Arnold Schwarzenegger to record the voice.

Why is it crashing? Is your computer up to date ?

It kept crashing after I left Hoboken Station. And I saw people saying there game crashed at Newark Penn. I was not even going to test that…
What’s the specs of your laptop. Also i have to warn you but… these kind of games aren’t suited for laptops
Ok if it’s does not quite suit for a laptop that’s just stinks. But can you explain more about what you mean for specs?
fun fact, the PATH is actually a rail road and not a subway
How is that possible?
