What an amazing test. I was hoping you would use Edge of Tomorrow as your demo. Those last measurements you captured at your highest volume are scary. Looks like you are hitting apx 95db at 13 hz hahaha. Top Gun: Maverick will be pure bliss on your setup. Keep the great videos coming 🍺
Thank you very much! I can't wait to see Top Gun Maverick on my home theater. Especially since I saw it in theaters but I wasn't impressed at all with the bass, or lack thereof I should say. I have a feeling it'll be a whole new experience at home in my setup. Thanks for watching 🍻
@@askmatt7283 I'm going to leave it off at this point. I'm not sure if I'll even be able to notice, so we'll see after I get a chance to watch a few movies.
@@TyEichele what is the actual direct frequency sweep of the sub output from the avr . must do video to show after that i ask next step of the question . and after that next step i ask next question of the sub .
Makes sense - I was more concerned with the 2 SVS subs in my system, and didn't want to cause damage to them somehow. However, in my research, SVS has built-in filters that prevent damages so they are good to go! Thanks!
you need to reinforce the baffle. it's rattling and creating inaudible reverb. it's visible on the graph.

@@TyEichele So will you be bypassing the HPF moving forward or will you continue engaging it? Thanks in advance.

you should look into beq for movies as well it brings back frequencies below 20hz that sound engineers cutoff soundbars can handle the movies
Oh trust me I have! Probably do a video on it sooner or later 😁👍
Whats the natural in room roll off for the subs?
I'm not sure if I understand completely, but I'm guessing you'd want to see a full sweep measured in REW for the subwoofer system? Is that correct?

@@andysummersthxcinemaandmyc7748 Does the sweep shown at 56 seconds into the video answer your question?
@@TyEichele Ok i missed the sweep measurement, had to rewatch 👍
home theater gurus recommendations aren't for infinite baffle speakers those are meant to go to infrasonic levels.........
