Le male Elixir does great for me getting compliments at places like work. It’s definitely a strong fragrance but the sweetness of it makes is super mass appealing even as a everyday fragrance!
I wore Le Male Elixir to my local gym once, immediately got surrounded by a group of really jacked guys who were all enamored with the smell. I was both gratified and terrified.

@VictorLopez-dw7fg Definitely. It's a freshie but not your typical one. It can be worn year round. It's got that standard freshie DNA but also is woody and mildly sweet. Up until very recently it's been hot where I live as well and I was wearing it in the heat. Have gotten more compliments off of it than any other cologne in a long time. Next time your in a shop, definitely sample it. I have a pretty big collection but since I bought it I have hardly worn anything else and not just because it's my newest pickup. Stuff is great.

Excellent video and I’m not at all surprised by the list. D&G Light Blue is still one of my most complimented fragrances to this day. Anytime I wear this lady at my job follows me around. Eros is an underrated line the EDP and the Perfume which is my scent of the day are definitely attention getters. Giorgio Armani Aqua Di Gio is and has been a clean and classic fragrance and at this point it’s timeless and those of us who grew up with it Will continue to rock it. YSL Y EDP is easily top 5 most complimented fragrances in my collection. I personally prefer the Perfume but it doesn’t get me nearly half the compliments that the EDP does. Bleu De Chanel the EDP and the Perfume have both been complete compliment magnets for and Sauvage is still the King. Looking forward to adding both the Valentino and the Jean Paul to the collection soon.
@@aruke it doesn’t get nearly as mentioned as some other lines like Bleu De Chanel, Sauvage, Dior Homme, YSL Y and several other high profile fragrance lines.
Profondo outselling the new parfum has 2 obvious reasons. 1) it is new, a lot of people still need to know of it and smell it, people into fragrances will not buy it because they either have a bottle (or several) of profumo or because the fragrance is new and will be around for a few years. 2) people who like the line just saw profumo getting axed and are getting anxious if perhaps profondo is next. Profumo got rebranded into parfum, but perhaps profondo will not get any continuation. So people buying back up bottles. For me, profondo does not work on my skin but luckily profumo does and i love that scent.
I work at Ulta in the fragrance section and Y MYSLF has been flying off the shelf when we even get it - it reminds me YSL De Nuit Homme while you’re wearing it. It’s like it’s big brother or vice versa
Le Male Elixir is a 14+ hour beast. On me it smells like amber, vanilla, with a hint of wet tobacco and honey. My bottle will last for a loooong time because more than 3 - 4 sprays chokes me out.
I find I it insane that Myself is doing better than Y. My guess is that Myself came out so recently so it is outperforming. That is bizarre though because I really think that Myself smells like a woman’s perfume more a men’s fragrance
honest question, but how is projection objectively evaluated? do you have to ask others around you to tell you if they smell it from certain distances? because wouldn't it be hard to quantify projection yourself, because there's many times where I think the scent has faded, but in actuality i'm just becoming nose blind to it.... just curious how this is typically evaluated
Subjectively, I believe when they make a comment like "I smelled you before I saw you" I tend to get this a lot at work and have both genders just come to my work area to chat about my scent then what ever they chose to segway
Well if I'm wearing a scent I haven't worn before, if it's strong I'll get whiffs of it here and there and even the day after. If I don't, it's weak. Nose blindness only occurs when you wear 1 fragrance all the time and don't take breaks from it.
I own both the YSL EDP, and Dior Suvage (elixer) the YSL is nice i feel its clean and nice but i don't really get whiffs of it through the day as much. The elixer is definitely one that attracts, it will last days on my clothes it even rubbed onto my seatbelt a few times. Its my absolute favorite but i just got Tom Ford Ombre leather EDP ordered and plan on getting the Eros EDP soon as well
I really think is Armani would price their stuff better, they’d all sell better. If 100ml was $80-90, I’d def buy them more regularly, but as long as you can get 150ml of Luna Rossa Ocean for $104, which is easily same quality if not better, Armani is going to keep losing sales to stuff like that. I get it, the success of the original ADG is something they’re continuing to ride on, but that thing was popular in the 99’s when I was in college and possibly up to about 2010 when Bleu de Chanel came out and created a whole blue fragrance craze. The original ADG I do still wear, but I’m usually in a tie and I tend to get daddy vibe reactions, which is not what I’m looking for. At the end of the day, I own ADG EDT, the new EDP, Profondo, Absolu, 2 from the code line, and so wear them all. I like their stuff, they just don’t do on my skin what things like Eros and Dylan Blue do, which is weird cuz now that I’m mid 40’s, you’d think the Versace frags would be a bit too juvenile on my skin. Not the case. I guess your mileage may vary.
My 10 top Fragrances are: 10. POLO Black 9. Kilian's Angel's Share 8. Gucci Guilty 7. Versace Dylan Blue 6. Dior Savauge 5. Versace Eros 4. Robanne Phantom 3. Invictus 2. Georgio Armani Acqua Di Gio 1. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue 1, 2, & 3 is All I need

One million: todo o Brasil usa, não gosto. Tmw: são fantásticos, exceto o Tonic; tenho toda a coleção. Eros: prefiro 100x o Flame; a menta do EDP me incomoda.

I bought Bleu De Chanel Parfum and I love the scent BUT it does not last long at all. In fact, I'm pretty disappointed in most of the colognes I've purchased. They smell great for a short while then they're gone.
It might just be that u get noseblind for the parfums. When I started wearing fragrances daily i could smell them all day. Now after almost a year i smell my frags for a few minutes. So dont freak out. Theyll have their longevity :)
Same bro. I bought dolce and gabbana , Armani , sauvage and it doesn’t last
Bleu de Chanel is way overrated !! And way overpriced for what it delivers ! I bought a bottle and it is a disappointment !
I bought Blue the chanel 150 mm 198 $ but it is lasting 10 minutes all original like this wich i bought
I want to live in a world where DHO was the hottest frag of the year.
Hi Ash! Can i have that Soulja Boy cologne?
Is valentino born in Roma intense winter or summer ??
My boy 1 million royal gets no love...😢
So I'm no expert in this field but these are based off sells or scent?
Sells
I only have three of these, and that includes the three also rans. So three of the 13.
One million: todo o Brasil usa, não gosto.
Tmw: são fantásticos, exceto o Tonic; tenho toda a coleção.
Eros: prefiro 100x o Flame; a menta do EDP me incomoda.
Eu prefiro o Versace Dylan Blue!!
