Interesting since most of the time right side minerals are considered to give more minerals in comparasion to the left side. But most like it is because in ZvP the left side is harder to defend as Protoss with the wall, because of the space of gate and specially forge that take more space up front the possible cannons, if i dont remember wrong, lamao. Also the high ground left under the natural may also be an factor.

I love Tasteless not knowing that no money is lost if you cancel a queued unit. Although, it is a fairly logical assumption. It would be just another level of complexity if unit production had to take into account non-recurring engineering and shop labor costs. We need Starcraft: Paperwork Edition
It's so strange to me that Protoss structures and probes get that 1 extra vision. There are just so many subtle ways the races differ that wouldn't even occur to you. Like, Protoss also mines slightly faster on average from most bases than Zerg, and Zerg faster than Terran, not because the workers mine any faster, but because the nexus, hatchery, and command center are all shaped differently.
That guardian attack was positioned horribly. It should've been positioned north of that Terran natural so the marines can't get in range or pincer attack from 2 sides. The scourges can also attack more easily if the valkeries get close.
Honestly Shine is a product of 10 years of TvZ where its very lopsided against Z so he is correct to try innovative builds. However, in the past 6 months-1 year, muta micro and crazy-zerg has become so insanely good it's very Z favored so he should focus on that. E.g. Soulkey with good muta micro currently has > 5:1 win rate in KCM racewars.
If Shine put that other hatch 2 more tiles up maybe it might not have been found. Both player's facial expressions when the hatch was discovered were great. Shine had this "Maphax!!" expression and Light's face just said "what on Earth?".
Light's siege tank focus fire at 30:28 was so fucking sexy and totally saved him the game. The friendly fire from firing at the zealots would kill all the tanks instantly.
Shine slammed his force into the teeth of the defense. Could have tried to feint with Zerglings towards the army ball but never engage then fly into the side of the main and at least make the army walk the furthest and funnel up a ramp. In the meantime macro for defense in case the army tries to hit a base

It's funny, I've always known cancelled units give back full ressources, but somehow I also often get confused with zerg eggs. My brain thinks they function like buildings sometimes so I was right there with Tasteless on this one

Can you defend a 4pool there by getting up a bunker instead of marines keeping the scvs there to body block? Game three: rip shine. As a terran player, I was rooting for shine there. Such a weird strat, too bad we never got to see it work out in full. Even so, glad light made it through first. Game four: nice to see royal make it through this game, a bit sad how sloppy ruin is. Loved the split army to deal with the recal Game five: The guardian play was strange, but at the end of the day glad royal made it through.
Korean ASL don't make any money from English viewers. The sponsors and ads target Korean buyers. Afreeca could make subscription model for english viewers but either they are too lazy or don't see a business case to do so.
I am not impressed. Seems like any other top P would have won that with that much advantage. Ruin seemed to have sloppy macro. The observer even pointed out his idle Stargates. I rewatched it again, Light's macro simply caught up and Ruin was caught with his pants down and not as much units.
