I think the liquid index is going to be life changing for me! Let me tell you how - I am an empty nester with a lot of family nearby. My biggest issue is never knowing when others will show up for dinner. So dinner for 2 - what we call hash - kielbasa, fried potatoes and onions - a sauté. Family is coming! Add some sauerkraut and a good hearty bread (always on hand). Another set of family is coming! Don’t fry the potatoes first. Leave the sauerkraut, add some broth and a little cream. Sauerkraut soup! (Yes it’s a thing) Keep the bread and maybe add some crackers with cheese. No more stressing over who might show up when! Mind blown!
Ok, I made two meals this week from the episode. The first was the sausage and beans- so simple but SO delicious. It’s going into my regular rotation. I’ve been scared to make CYLC because of the whole 500 degree thing, but last night I bit the bullet. It was great. Sorry I doubted you Kendra, it won’t happen again 😆.

I am not a huge TH-cam watcher, but I am obsessed with these!
Also, you should pursue a partnership with spiceology. They are fantastic and it takes cylc up a notch in the ease category. I add the oil and maybe a fresh herb and a different amazing spice blend each time and it tastes totally different, even if I use the same veggies
A cool follow up for each of these recipes would be to follow up with the people from each episode to see how they’re using the tools you’ve given them!
Making the sausage thing for lunch! I’m feeling a little stressed by the lack of salt … surely I should salt this a little right?? I’m going to salt it. Kendra would want me to salt it. Kendra loves salt. 🤣

For the second recipe, do you need to adds fat to the tomato/ bean mixture before putting the sausages on top to bake?
