- A bunch of great people came and played the Deckard's Dream + Kurzweil Midiboard + Linnstrument combo. Here for your viewing and listening pleasure, are some of the highlights. Thank you to all, especially @mootbooxle! / mootbooxle

such a bright and clear sound, like not melancholic, rather joyous and triumphant, filled with light this instrument sounds...
Hey Paul, in one of these videos the LinnStrument was emulating the CS-80 ribbon controller. Was the MIDI output going into the Input of the Kurzweil to facilitate this?
With a Deckard’s Dream + Expander + LinnStrument, and a poly aftertouch/velocity keyboard, you could get the complete CS-80 experience. (Sans the sustain and expression pedals with their functionalities.)
Yes I believe that’s how I had it set up, and Linnstrument set to Low Row pitchbend. However if you get a Hydrasynth (Deluxe) you have the whole package - great poly AT response, and it includes the long ribbon that does respond like the CS80 one (starts bend wherever you first touch)
@@paulschilling2996 If its ribbon works and pitch bends Deckard’s Dream, then the Hydrasynth Deluxe might be enough.
Sounds awesome. Great project.
Great sounding synth and some nice performances to help highlight the fact.
This sounds incredible
Nice demo. Thanks for all the work you put into this Paul.
The guy with the long hair actually knew how to get the best out of the instrument

That's a synth ! and those are very nice performances ! Vangelis would be happy to own this "boutique sized" CS80 !!!
Anyone done a decent review of polyphonic aftertouch in 2018? Seems like a corporate shame.
wow!!!
That second player is a savage. If anyone knows who he is drop a link please.
The 3rd player with the wrist bands on his left hand is Moot Booxle. I'm at 5:40.
@@zibbybone Thank you!
