I have a '22 CCLB with the 6.6 gas Alaskan edition Northsky Blue Metallic. I absolutely love my truck. The A pillars are a little wide and cause a Blindspot sitting at a corner. I'm averaging 13.8mpg up and down over the hills. On the highway I have no problem getting 18mpg. Towing a 7k lb camper with a 700 lb 4 wheeler in the bed of the truck I get 9-12 mpg depending on terrain.
Thanks for the video. I also had a 90s lowered ck. I'm shopping for the 2500 and appreciate guys such as yourself making videos with real-world perspective. You are the first that didn't reference MPG or data comparison to rhe diesel. Lol. Good job. Keepin it Real! Peace!
I test drove a 2021 Silverado 2500 regular cab WT 4x4 in white. I love the look and wanted to buy it. It was totally cool. The problem I had was the driver's seat was too low and there's no way to adjust the height. To get that adjustment you have to upgrade to the LT trim. Good review
Hey great video! I just got a used 2020. Has stock tires on it. What wheel tire set up do you have? And also what was your mpg like after getting your set up?
My 2020 longbed same color is great but, roll all four windows down and drive 55mph and see what happens. But people want borrow it to move someone. Get the shortbed.
I understand where you’re coming from on the vinyl but disagreed. I have carpet and then all weather floor mats all the way around works just fine for me and I work out of mine and get it dirty.
I actually drove my buddies 21 2500hd 6.6 gas and compared it to my 14 2500hd 6.0 gas the 6.0 has better power at the bottom end. If actually heard this also from other people
Being tall is only a privilege when reaching for high places. The world is built for short people we dont fit anywhere cause there are more people 5’5 - 5’10 and things are built for the majority
Thanks for the review. Just bought this same truck today, and love it so far.

This is my dream truck!
That mpg is what my 17 crew cab long bed tacoma gets lol

Cost of front grille conversion?
I have a 21 Silverado custom1500 I’ve upgraded my gauge cluster and radio and front end conversion
Beautiful truck I plan on getting one

There is a company that makes seat risers for that issue.
Wild, how tall are you? Can barely see over bed rails!?
Any issues with oil lost issues?
Was it a Custom or Work Truck model? Also, what was the cost of the front end conversion? THANKS
The cost is just don’t buy a base model. One headlight is like 1k$
Nice video. So the 6.6 is new in 2020? I’m interested to see how it holds up after 10 years or so.
After a year of having this truck have you had any issues? Thinking of getting this as a work truck
the size comparison is amazing
Can you leave links to the high country bumpers and grills
Your truck burn a lot of oil?
Is your truck lifted or stock from factory?
Are those fuel krank wheels?

Would’ve loved to hear about the motor/power
No kidding, right? Especially with the total lack of videos on that subject.
Thanks for sharing!

How about some gas mileage numbers ?
Thats not exactly its strong suit. Id say the best I've gotten on hwy is 15mpg😅
Is that fuel door plastic like the Ford?
Aluminum i believe
What mpg are you guys getting because I’m considering one of these?
I get a steady 11.6, mines 2WD, CCLB 2500. Empty or towing about 5k.
Do these have a front bench seat (3 seater)?
Yes

thanks for this vid man 👍👍
Love my 22 2500 gas HD but mine came with the standard bed which it's perfect cause I just can't with a short bed
Huh?
@@Icutmetal ahi burro
May I ask how tall you’re, just to get an idea just how large that truck really is!
How much cash ?
Great truck... I don't need all of those bells and whistles or the massaging seats. Just give me a powerful truck that does truck stuff!
I got a kick out of the brake size comparison 😅😅
That was the best way to compare 😂

We tried out a 6.0 and the 6.6 before buying our 2020 gmc 2500 gasser. Seemed obvious to me the 6.6 had more power
@@jimcollins8097I think the only people who would claim the 6.0 has more power are people that are missing that extra 0.6l.
Could be axle ratio. I think the 2019 hd's had some ratio choices, where my 20 only comes with 1 ratio. D K what was in the truck i tried out.
@@jimcollins8097 No they didn’t, and they still don’t.
Get a locking gas cap. Our F250 is the same way
How much do you weigh bros built like a soldier tf
Thanks Sam
You need to buy the lower filler piece of the grille 😬

2023 3500 srw. I get 14mpg
Omg 😱 you took that beautiful white truck through one of those nasty swirl inducing paint scratching mirror eating automatic car wash 🤦♂️🤦🏼
Omg you run it through a Car wash?!! Wtf dude
Personally I think the 6.6 gas is a dead dog that can’t get out of its own way.
Thanks for sharing your opinion…I’m sure everyone was wondering what you thought.
Well you’re a tiny man so maybe buy a Colorado next. 😂
