Kool...."Georgia's always on my mind" We live in AL, but have made many trips to GA....North, South and in between. We visited-camped in the same area, including Brasstown Bald..in October of 2018....but one of our most indelible memories took place about 50 yrs ago when we tent camped at Vogel...had ice in the bucket, the next morning....smile. No more tents these days....21 ft Micro Minnie...ha, ha. Great job on the video...as usual.

Wonderful adventure. It really gives you respect for all the workers that build the infrastructure for these trails and observation areas in the mountains. It must really be tough bringing all the men and materials to these areas in order to allow the rest of us to enjoy it.

Another great episode. An area you should check out is the Blue Ridge Parkway between Asheville and Blowing Rock. Blowing rock is a small town you’d probably enjoy. Another area is Highlands, NC - lots of waterfalls in the area.

Thank You Robert. Watched your Sunday video and now I feel layed back and ready to go out and explore. Please sometime find time to visit the Ozark Mountain Country. Northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. actually a ancient plateau that rain water and streams have eroded down to the present. Lots to see visit the sites and lakes follow the white river. Visit Monarch Springs Cavern. Trout fishing and of course the lake of the Ozarks and Branson Missouri. If you like the mountains in the south east you will love this country. Stop in and canoe the current river near Rolla Missouri.

That paved switch back trail at Brasstown bald is no joke. My family and I took several “breaks” walking up that trail and then my girls got mad with me when they figured out we could have taken the shuttle up to the top lol. By the way, when you feel alone in the woods of the GA mountains and you hear banjo music....RUN!!!! Lol.

Welcome to my happy place! I first came to the Blairsville area back in 2004 and fell in love with the area and have been coming mostly in the fall and sometimes in the summer every year except for maybe one or two years in the last 16 years. I was actually there at the end of October, beginning of November 2019 for a few days. I love Vogel State Park and I love Brasstown Bald. I usually stay in a little cabin community called Highland Falls in the Owltown area between Vogel State Park and Blairsville. Again, it is my favorite place to visit!😁❤️

Robert, you were talking about sweating in 40 degree weather, but watching you run up and down the mountains, and then knowing how you had to have crossed the creek (done that many times, sometimes not so successfully), you were causing me to work up a sweat thinking you were going to fall in some where.. But then you pulled it off just like the pro you are... Great video of Georgia...

Hey hey nice surprise video! Good job on the hiking buds. Getting to that last hike is exactly why you have a truck now. Try back packing with the drone sometime and put it in sport mode to follow you. You should be able to set the altitude at which to follow you. That would be some cool shots and angles. AlliChuck Adventures I can relate on that one. Luckily there’s only been one or two times when I’ve been up there that as soon as I see that the weather is not conducive that I don’t even go up to Brasstown Bald
