The motor of this 1997 Yamaha yz 125 is out and case is split! Lots of nasty broken parts in the bottom end of the motor. I even found bearing rods in the water pump housing.
I restored a 1983 cr 250...I took the perfect motor out and plugged all the ports with j cloths...when I was done the restoration...I pulled the j cloths out hooked everything up...started first kick...took off for a quick boot...and boom...it blew up! I took it apart...and found a bent penny...my oldest son ...seen pennies beside the motor and decided the penny should be in the carb... he was nice enough to put the j cloth back in the carb tho...it was so thoughtful of him....he was 5 yrs.old....kids lol!
Haha my worse nightmare. So funny he but it back the way he found it! 😂 I’m just waiting for the day. He already tries to work on the bike with me. Lol

Somebody sabotaged the motor! How in the f does a needle bearing get in the water pump,or clutch basket? Lol kids!
