It does look pretty but remember if you have tighter curls don't do that especially if the hair is completely dry. You'll break your hair and very likely it will fall out.

For those saying "why brush them out?" Or "i liked it better before" lots of people really like their curls to all match up, which is why they brush em out, it gives some sense of completion for some people. In UT they call it the UT curl lol

As someone who has this hair type naturally, I have desperately been trying to find a way to brush my hair that won't ruin my curls- so imma try this out, and also try out some of the ways that the comment section had been suggesting and hopefully it won't make my hair look bad finally :)
edit - god I wasn't expecting this comment to get so much attention- sorry guys!! I haven't gotten around to the suggestions yet, I've been kinda busy- I'll try them soon though!! Thank you for all of the suggestions and tips :)
I would suggest finding a pretty wide tooth comb to brush them out or just use your fingers to keep the same curl effect with a more together tone!
brushing your hair dry damages it!! just brush gently when youre conditioning in the shower to detangle and you'll be good

I think your hair needs to not have a lot of layers either to be able to pull this off.
It’s heartless , I have that type of curly hair and I suggest using anything cantu and using a diffuser to not have frizz (watch a tut)

It's because of the type of brush they used. You can used wide toothed brush. I always brush my hair while shower with wide hairbrush. I never use hot water on my hair. After shower I don't dare to brush my hair at all even for doing hairstyles. Well brushing dry curly hair is bad because it will cause friction. Sleeping on silk pillow helped too. And if i follow all these steps then my hair is majestic. No wonder my hair is a hot topic at school since everyone don't know how to take care of hair or maybe don't put effort on it
Also another solution to that coming from somebody with curley hair is make sure you brush your hair while it's wet it will do your hair a lot better and it will look less frizzy
Also when your done brushing it while it's wet, scrunch it if you know what I mean by that

natural curled girl here! what i do is first i wet my hair a decent amount (make sure not too much and not too little!), then i comb through it. after that, i apply my curl cream which helps with frizz and helps define my curls.

I suggest using product for your hair that works, my hair was really frizzy but I got curl cream for my hair and my hair isn’t frizzy anymore, and I don’t need to use much of it anymore

Please don't compare your natural hair to heatt-styled hair - they need to be treated differently. This was done to hair curled with GHD tongs, not natural curls (see title). Natural curls get frizzy when brushed like this.

natural hair comes with frizz, thats how it is for everyone. this hair is heat styled, hence why it looks almost too good to be true. but yeah same for me bc thats just how it is lol.

@@plutosssthat’s many people’s natural curl pattern without curling ur hair. I think they look pretty when they aren’t brushes out. It looks animated almost and they’re more bouncy. They’ll evening fall and look more natural as time goes by

This isn't naturally curly hair. This was heart styled. Brushing natural curls will make them frizzy if done on dry hair.

We just sent her back to the hospital, and part of her intestines are not working. If she goes through another surgery right now, she might die. Please pray for her.

We use it on twist outs to avoid frizz you should use a serum or oil on it make sure moisturizing very well and brushing should be ok if done sparingly and correctly
