Thank you so much Shiva for your comment! You're right, this prelude is a true masterpiece... Beautiful to listen to and wonderful to play, I really love Bach's music. By now I can almost consider myself a Bach specialist...
Thank you so much Dochama for your comment ! You're right this prelude is known for its dark and passionate mood. The Presto especially demands a lot of precision from the pianist. I'm happy you liked my recording!
What a wonderfully focused performance, Carmelo. Expressive, gentle, smooth, kind, and lively and moving. Thank you for your always wonderful performance. And I look forward to hearing many more exciting performances from now on. Have a great musical weekend and a great success. Satoru
Thank you very much Satoru for your comment and your interest in my video. Thank you for your kind analysis that I really hope I deserve. I try to do my best in every piece, I listen to the masters playing it a lot and I try to steal their secrets.... I don't know if I can do it but I give it my all...

Bravo, Carmelo. You played masterfully, with a lot of expressiveness in the slower part and with precision and energy in the fast part. Furthermore, Pianoteq's sound fits perfectly into its performance, a simply exquisite video. A little curiosity, Carmelo: what makes you love baroque music? Many greetings to beautiful Italy.
Thank you very much André for your comment! I tried to give my best in this masterpiece. As a boy I loved muscular music: the romantic and late romantic music of Chopin, Liszt, Scriabin and Rachmaninoff. I played a lot of it and I was bored by the classics, I loved that music that exploits the expressive potential of the piano to the maximum. Today I prefer tranquility to virtuosity, Baroque polyphony to transcendental studies. Am I getting old? Who knows, today it is like this and I have a lot of fun. Greetings to sunny Brasil.
I played for 10 years as a kid from 10 to 20. Then I didn't touch the piano anymore because I had university, then work, then family then children. I started again at 50 years from beginning: first Bach preludes, Inventions, Symphonies, French Suites and now the WTC I.... I love Bach Music !
