Long Dale and Gratton Dale bridleway.

Peak District. Long Dale and Gratton Dale, then on to Parsley Hay via Green Lane. Starting at the car park at Friden (Newhaven) on the High Peak Trail this ride can be quite challenging. Gratton Dale is not bike friendly although it is a bridleway. Beware of random rocks, Hawthorn trees, nettles, water and horses. Best ridden or walked when dry (summer). Best suited to MTB/eMTB or Gravel bikes...or walked.
