    Sean I really like your videos. I have the counter slide on 3 hunting bows. Will you please do a video on how you used it to balance your bow out please.

      I'll keep it in mind and see if I can do one. I have a lot on my plate.right now so it might be a bit before I get to it, if I am able to.

    I just started shooting a Bear Alaskan and i love it. Would you recommend this type of stabilizer for that particular bow or something else.

    Quick question sean, would there be a general size bow that would be best for someone 6'3"? My current bow is a Bear Escape 32" and looking to upgrade.
    I have been looking at the new Mathews traverse 33", the pse in 35" evoke i think it is, Elite Revolv 35", and hoyt helix ultra 34".
    Just hunt white tail in the northeast and target/3d the rest of the year.

      @seansoutdoors  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The biggest thing is having a bow that has the correct draw length. With your long draw, you probably would be better off with a slightly more text back because of the angle it creates when you are at full draw.

      @raivkka4313 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seansoutdoors OK, thx. I think I know what you are saying. Larger axel to axel will be a preferable string angle than a short ATA.

    I have the regular Microhex on order. Was shipped to me December 19th. Here it is January 10th. Still no stabilizer. After watching your video I'm even more frustrated. Got your book last year and just subscribed. Thanks for all you do. God bless.

    Wouldn't this put too much weight to one side if you don't shoot with a quiver on?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on how you angle it. There is still weight Frome the sight and rest to offset

    I was looking at these myself. Using dead center front and rear but its bulky at times. This looks less in the way.

    Hey Sean, do you notice any vibration caused by a single mounting point for a 15” bar? I had a Stokerized Carbon Stasis once in the 15” version and it was terrible. Like a tuning for. Makes me leery of trying another similar product. Currently I run a front and back bar for balance.

  • @deermuscle2283
    @deermuscle2283 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sean I am running a fast Eddie XL on the new RX3 turbo , I am a little worried about pin float - which would be better the microhex like yours or sport hunter ?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally love the Microhex and would prefer that to just about anything right now.

      Sean's Outdoor Adventures - what length is yours ?

    • @KA-lm6sp
      @KA-lm6sp 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also have the fast eddie xl and it adds a lot of weight out front. I have the front and back bar set up so that I can get more weight to the back and side. I have a 5 oz weight on the back which is heavy, but I feel like it balances nicely. Certainly depends how far out you position your sight too. I really want to try out the 15" counterslide for hunting though. I'm thinking front and back bar setup for long range practice, and counterslide for hunting.

    Hey Sean, I’m looking at this stabilizer. If I don’t shoot with a quiver on do you think this would still be a good option? Thanks

    Always appreciate your videos Sean. I have been looking into this stabilizer myself but I don’t often shoot with my quiver on. That said because this is set out to the side, with no quiver on the bow would it cause it to tilt? Also I’m sure it clears but it almost looks like it would come in contact with your arm when at full draw. Is it close?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can adjust the stabilizer front to back so you can set it wherever you need for it to clear. As for using it without a quiver, yes I e done that too. You can change the angle it sticks out to be almost straight down practically touching the bow rather than out to the side like I have it.
