    Third, the video doesn't point out that upon a foul or violation, the direction of the ball needs to be pointed before the spot of disposing the ball. Calling a foul or violation is straight up, not slanted like the real situation example. Coverage areas should've been explained.

    Its fun how we get everyone correcting each other. First, we should indicate the type of infraction at all levels to our partner/s to set them know what happened. Second, I know the birddog when calling the foul is optional, but is also discouraged and is being phased out.

    My association drills into us that it is color first, then number, then foul.
    It sounds so strange to hear it number then color.
    The only foul we signal at the point of infraction is a block or a charge.
    But then again we just could be rebels...

    i am a junior ref, i think that this video is helpful but i am from Australia and some things are a bit different to what was shown in the video

    Well in the UK as a table official i have found referees, even at national league level do number then colour...
    It does seem illogical
